This is a lovely number and I always think Marti Webb was underrated and overshadowed by Elaine Paige, but she really brings feeling to this song. Yes, But It's In Two Halves. One Of Them Is Called 'Tell Me On A Sunday' And That's Just The One Woman Show. The Whole Thing Is Called 'Song And Dance'. On My CD Of The Soundtrack It's Called 'Tell Me On A Sunday' Anyway.

The musical was originally named Tell Me On A Sunday, this was the title when Marti Webb played the girl.

However, as it moved on the musical became Song and Dance, where Tell Me On A Sunday played act 1.

@JennyJakins Originally, "Tell Me on a Sunday" was a stand alone play. This song, as well as the song "Tell Me on a Sunday" were in it. Later, he developed a ballet with similar themes. He made that the second act of "Song and Dance" and "Tell Me on a Sunday" the first act.
