  • The thunderbolt dual tone used to be our tornado warning...talk about creepy...especially late at night.

Usually, when the clouds are moving that fast, bad weather is on the way.

  • The sound of a thunderbolt starting up and winding down may be the best siren sound in the history of the world.

  • sounds like grand rapids in downtown during a tornado worning with a thunderbolt

  • Whare I live we get lots of tornados! It's scary on time there was a wall cloud right outside my house!! I thought my house was gonna be a plié of dust in the morning! Thankfully nothing happend!

  • You're lucky to hear the thunderbolt most of the time...listen to that wimpy-ass shitty 2001 in the background.

  • maybe the oscillation of those Thunderbolt sirens was enough to dissolve the tornado wall.

  • @WarriorsofOdin do you live on the northern part of town? cuz tht area didnt get effected

  • i live in Stuttgart Arkansas if you have any questions, i dont mind u messaging me

  • 1:09

  • what town is this i know somebody who lives in arkansas

  • One tiny Minor question is this in day time or evening so DARK XD

  • The siren at 1:09 is creepy as hell

  • thats an old Thunderbolt siren they used during WW2, all tornado sirens use to sound like that, but today we have these wimpy sirens that are politically correct and love Justin Bieber.

  • @S0lidState They didn't have Thunderbolts in WWII, Thunderbolts didn't come out until the 50's

  • Seeing the moon in this video makes it even more creepy. The clouds are moving so fast they look like smoke!

  • most of the time its very very calm before a tornado hits. hard to breathe cause the air is so hot and moist. the anticipation and the sirens make it just an eerie feeling all around.

  • wow if I heard tornado sirens I would get the hell out of there lol, but good video :)

  • No wind WTF

  • eff that! i would by the shetler!

  • the Thunderbolt sounds fuckin awesome! love having it fire up and blare multiple times!

  • We had a tornado here in the area of Toledo, Ohio about one month ago. Millbury, Ohio still looks like a war zone, it is very sad. Everytime we have a bad storm or tornado warning I get so scared.

  • @82Nikkis i live in cincinnati ohio

  • @bohrokthunder Where in Cincy? I used to live in the Covedale, Delhi area. :)

  • @BellyJae i cant tell you that but anyways awesome videos you have your vids rock there awesome

  • it sounds Diffrent Now

The Sirin sounds like the one From Silent Hill Now

  • wow that cloud really dark

  • Lol good old thunderbolt 1000t knew it was them as soon as the vid started but u can just sense the danger

  • Fuck. Thats scary.

  • was it that dark outside or was it just that black?

  • where in Arkansas was this filmed

  • this is ur town.....I sense evil presscence within that town lol

  • When its dark outside like that, and you hear the sirens, you know that you're prolly not gonna be able to spot a starting of a tornado, thats what makes it sorta scary.

  • What's really creepy is when a tornado siren outside of town (neighboring town) goes off, the rest in that sister town (in my case the towns are very close, almost connected) go off. Then your town sirens go off. It is just too creepy when they go off one by one.

  • ummm maybe Arkansas like it says....

  • That is some very frightening clouds!

  • thunderbolts sound creepy during a tornado warning awesome video too.

  • what is the siren telling you

  • The siren is telling you that you're pretty much shit out of luck.

  • @crazywarriorman HAHA ya i wouldent want to see and hear that

  • those are some eerie clouds.. id be hitting the deck lol

  • very scary. But i love hearing those sirens. They freak me out but i love them, Is that a thunderbolt?

  • I hear 2 Thunderbolts and a 2001.

  • I love the seen of one storm leaving and the ather one moving in nice thunderbolt.

  • nasty clouds. i can't believe how quick they rolled in like that.

  • That sky is sweet is hell i would be doing the same thing standin outside and watching it fuck taking shelter

  • shute my G-parents live in Mayflower there is pretty freaky wheather up there now wooooooooo there has been a few funnels to drop out there but not touch i rememeber coming into counter with one in 01 there was one on the ground one night coming home!

  • if it ever gets like that in conway im am goin to be runnin like all hell was let loose

    @_@ thats just plain scary

  • ahh yeah the sweet sweet sound of a thunderbolt .. bliss ^_^

  • Where in Arkansas is this becuse i live in Newport Ar

  • the sirens make it more scary to listen to the dogs bark like wat the hell is going on

  • that is so creepy how it gets dark i be running like there was no tomorrow shoo i'd be in the house shaking

  • I was there. It was bad. Our fence was torn down and our trampoline was thrown 2 houses away. And that exact same day I recieved a letter from farm beru insurance company for my tornado drawing. I came in first place.

  • look it the upper left corner at 1:26 it looks like a ufo... FREAKYYYY!!

  • maybe an airplane?

  • Looks more like the moon.

  • Looks like a huge mesocyclone above his house, you can see it spinning

  • yeah. But no storm (it spins very fast) but always looks as if it's spinning at walking speed you know what i mean? A tornado will be on the ground with 200 mph+ winds but it looks like bike riding speed.. are you a trained spotter?

  • I remember some storms like this here in Iowa, as well, where the sky would get so dark at 10 in the morning, you'd almost think it was night. This a great video, and I miss these sirens as well- they were way more attention-getting. Nice vid!

  • I'am glad we don't get tornados here in Norway, but I'am going to my grandpha in the usa in July, if that happend, when I'am there I would run as hell. Nice vid, better watch storms, or tornados at youtube than real ;-).

  • beautiful. one of the best videos out there.

  • the sirens make it more scary

  • Tell me about! It makes me scared even if its just a test!

  • Holy shit,i would be scared to death!

  • Where In Arkansas Was This?

  • you guys get some dark ass storms!

  • that was some of the best Thunderbolts-in-action footage I've ever heard and seen. Their sounds really completes the entire nature of the tornado warning. It sounds beautiful.

  • i miss the thunderbolt series. Now they have some sort of high pitched @#$@# horn i cant hear, reminds me of an ambulance siren shoved down a toilet. *shrugs*

    cool vid.

  • It's these electronic crap sirens they're coming out with now...I think it's their less threatening/higher pitch for increased frequency that just doesn't seem to grasp people's attention nearly as well. Thunderbolts command attention!

  • Sounds like a huge fly with a microphone stuck to its ass.

  • hahaha!

    good one

  • Haven't you ever fucken heard a tornado alarm stupid ass

  • Comment removed

  • These Thunderbolts timers are set to activate for three Minute Cycles but the 2001 is set to activate for a preset amount of minutes unknown how long it ran though

  • th esirens scare me its an erie sound

  • a dog warning system

  • i love stuff like this it makes me feel bubbly

  • creepy

  • There is a TORNADO just WAtch CLOSLEY BEFORE HE POINTS THE CAMERA TOWARD THE CLOUDS.

  • dumb asses

  • Dude the tornado is right there you just freakin missed it and just pointed the camera to the clouds.

  • there is no tornado on this video, just the leading edge of the storm coming towards him.

  • All I can say is wtf....

  • haha there not tornado sirens there just things for the dogs to bark at jeez!! lol talking about whelens and thunderbolts these sirens are actually Bow Wow 300P's

lol im joking wow evil clouds and scary sirens!!! looks like u have a tornada heading your way! or at least severe thunderstorms lol

  • never herd sirens like this i hear the bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun not like flatline mosquito but still nice and scary

  • I've seen storm clouds like this. And it's no joke when you see this.. Makes ur heart skip a beat.

  • those are some evil looking clouds

  • I can't stand it when those sirens go off. It's bad enough they test them here in st.louis, but it's even worse when it's NOT a test and something might be headed your way. It's creepy how the sky keeps changing colors in your video. Nice footage.

  • i no i live in arkansas and in bryant i live like 2 blocks away from the sirens once they tested them i looked outside and it was gray and the wind got freaky i literly pissed my pants turns out those panzis tested em

  • I live in Kansas I was just missed by the Manhattan tornado. It's scary as hell when those sirens are going off!

  • I believe that Thunderbolt 1000T/1003 is set to chopper level 5.

  • The sound of that Thunderbolt siren is amazing! It is a beautiful sound-So deep and powerful they are

  • I remember it,scarryyy.

  • i remember this!!! i was so scared!! we were in our hallway all night

  • Because I live there.

  • Its in Rogers, Arkansas

  • about how fare is that siren from your house?

  • This video is pretty eerie...I have never seen clouds move like that before. But then again, I live in California. The parts I live in it doesn't rain a lot.

I love the sound of the Thunderbolt though, it's great....but eerie too. HA!

  • Watching and listening to this makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

  • I wanna visit Arkansas, and Norwayranch

  • Nice 2001-SRN (most likely) and a Thunderbolt. Those are great noises!

  • 1003s and 1000Ts don't sound any different from each other in alert or attack. The only sound difference between the two is that the 1003 produces a third signal (the fire signal).

  • here did the tornadio hit

  • i think this IS in fact located in Atkins Arkansas

  • Pretty purple clouds, freaky sirens!

  • one of the sirens sounds like harmony and the other one sounds like a deep mans voice

  • Fucking scary sirens!

    Dx

  • I used to live in Arkansas. Actually on th Jacksonville AFB! This occurred all the time in the spring and summer. The sirens still creep me out today. But no I don't worry about anymore because Sacramento doesn't get severe weather like this.

  • the sirens sound creepy as fuck! where is this btw?

  • makes me feel like silent hill in real life!!! :P

  • i hate the sireins they scare me and thats a creepy cloud

  • i live in heber springs AR ive lived there for my whole life and we've had some bad storms but not so many tornadoes. We've had a few, but they were small

  • I live in Benton, AR.. And i think this is the storm that started around hot springs, AR.. and intensified over eastern AR causing the tornado.. And then caused the major tornado over Memphis and Jackson TN.

  • Luckily up here in Wisconsin, we havent had to use that tornado siren yet. We usually have that go off about 4-5 times a year for tornado warnings. We havent really even had a bad storm. Just some really nice rains. (Well, in the area I live in at least... others in Wisconsin havent been so fortunate...)

  • Where is this video taken? Stuttgart?

  • where in arkansas was this?

  • it was about 7-8 check my vid out i was standing right next to him my brotha

  • What time was this at? please respond

  • I think around 3-5 somewhere around then

  • 2:15 is fucked up! how can the sky get that dark

  • those clouds look like smoke..spooky

  • That is one of the most scariest video's I have ever seen. I've never heard the siren before...damn.

  • I remember that happening in my area a few years ago! It was 3:00 in the afternoon & it looked like nighttime outside. Scary shit!

  • when that happened i was in west helena, in phillips county just a county away.

  • i live in rogers, arkansas and its very similiar to what happened to us too

  • Now thats Awesome.

  • Big time! Thunderbolt sirens are the master of disaster!

  • it looks like The Myst from Stephen King

  • Dang, they barely gave that Thunderbolt (siren) any rest time, maybe like 15sec. most!

  • Holy Cow! That is scary as hell! The roaring siren is called a Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000T and the siren that kind of sounded like it was howling is a Federal Signal 2001. Great video!

  • 2 sirens.... a thunderbolt 1000t is the nearest siren....its dual toned....the other is a FS 2001...its the high pitched harmonic single toned siren

  • Wow! Those are some scary clouds! And those sirens you are hearing are 2001s and thunderbolts.

  • i got cot n dat but my family prade and it hit are naber and missed us

  • Dude you are spelling it wrong! Sounds like Lolspeak that Lolcats use.

Translation: I got caught in that but my family prayed and it hit our neighbor and missed us.

  • Wow.

It sounds and looks like the end of the world!

  • I live in Jacksonville & all that really happens is the sirens go off but thankfully we usually don't get any tornadoes!! although it would be kind of exhilarating if we did

  • the sirens are like a high pitched screech!! very annoying!!!!

  • und dann wisst ihr : irgendwas passiert gleich

  • die sirene ... die macht alles ... stellt euch mal vor ihr hört das !

  • The siren scares me...It is a horrible sound!

But i would not like to have the experience to be in a tornado

  • sometimes these things go off and then nothin happens and people get pissed

  • they're called "drills"

  • i was out side looking at this in benton, this was at like 6:30 p.m.!!

  • Thats Scary, you could make a Scary Alien Movie with this footage. Mysterious dark Clouds, Dogs barking and howling, Sirens going off, add some thunder effect to it and I'll be shitting my pants. Great video.

  • The sounds in this are really scary. I find the sirens to be really frightening.

  • I miss living in Hot Springs. I miss these storms..

  • just this storm alone has killed at least 21 people now, has injured 180+, and destroyed 300+ buildings. I mean completely destroyed, they are gone, and people are still missing. And we get a grand total of 50 national Gaurds coming out to help.
