  • God Bless You Disneytv4me!!

U have brought tears to my eyes!! I haven't seen this episode since 1960!! I was jst 8 years old and we watched @ Christmas time... in front of our brand new color TV!! I have been looking for some of the old episodes of WWOD and ran across your blog!! I sure hope that Disney reads these comments and realizes that some of us old folks would love to see them again... What memories we had... Thank you again!! Please keep posting these!!!

  • Can you upload the Donald Duck show called Kids is Kids? It stars Donald Duck, his nephews, and Ludwig Von Drake. Please respond.

  • @NickyHelp You mean the whole thing in one piece?

  • @NickyHelp I would if I could, my friend. I'm sorry to say I don't have the episode. If I come across it, you can be sure to look to my channel for it.

  • Thanks for posting this. I remember seeing portions of this on 'A Disney Channel Christmas' (1983, my year of birth), but never this full telecast.

  • Thanks for the memories. I watched this the first time it was broadcast. Also saw it in elementary school as a 16mm film, also the "I'm No Fool" series. Boy, am I dating myself!

  • @ClyneDDW You were lucky to be able to grow up with these precious Disney gems!

  • @Disneytv4me Amen! We watched it on a Montgomery Ward TV set. I believe I was 8 years old. Watched Howdy Doody, Pinky Lee, The Magic Land of Alakazam. My dad was an electronics engineer at North American Aviation and he said he wouldn't buy a color TV until they perfected it. He assembled Hound Dog missiles and the capsule for the first Apollo mission. Lost that commemorative coin made from the returning capsule. Came in a little plastic box.

  • OH YES YES YES!!!!! They show this on Norwegian tv every Christmas Eve!!! :D :D :D It's nostalgic and tradition to watch it!!! THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!

  • @19jacinta88 Same in Sweden!! Brings up so many Christmas memories! :D

  • Bless you for posting this!!!!

  • @kimbre01 You're welcome :)

  • I have From All of US To All Of You From 12-25-1977 with all the original aired commercials-55 min 8+,email for dvd info.

  • @Raretelevisiondvds To anyone planning on taking up this gentleman's offer, it's wise to know that the 1977 episode entitled From All of Us to All of You is not the same at the 1958 episode seen here. While it is still a Christmas themed Disney episode, it shares nothing more than the title of the episode seen here.

  • Actually this special was released on VHS in edited form as Jiminy Cricket's Christmas, but that was also derived from the Disney Channel Christmas special. Btw, do you REALLY know if Santa's Workshop was the first cartoon introduced in the special?

  • @avickers1992 Yes, that I'm sure of. However, I couldn't confirm the correct order of the feature film excerpts. The only piece of film entirely missing from my reconstruction is Walt's introduction.

  • @avickers1992 No, this isn't from a DVD. This episode has never been released on VHS or DVD. It has, however, appeared in an edited form on various Christmas specials over the years, including A Disney Channel Christmas and Jiminy Cricket's Christmas. I managed to reconstruct the episode (to the best of my ability) using a variety of sources. The excerpts from Disney films were sourced from their respective DVD/Blu-Ray releases.

  • Aaawww, I didn't know Mickey was so proficient with multiple instruments!

  • Is this the first episode they changed the name World of Color?

  • @CLott237 No. In fact, when this episode originally aired, it was under the heading of Walt Disney Presents. It wasn't until it reran in 1963 that the opening title was edited to accommodate the opening title sequence of the television show at that time, which was then known as Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. The first episode to appear with the opening title sequence of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color was An Adventure in Color/Mathmagic Land which aired on September 24th, 1961.

  • I've been looking for this episode forever!

Thank you so much for posting :)

  • @ProbradIII You're very welcome
