And i was saying japanese tanks with carpet plants are much more intresting to watch with the eels knifefish and loaches wiggling through them...but yeah obv im not allowed my opinion lol sadacts geta life outside utube :D
To the people kicking off about my "opinion" of this tank, not only am i a product designer, I specialise in aqautic & reptile tanks as a hobby. Andto the guys saying you cant have plants with goldfish what are you talking about. Ive got 6 fancies in my coffee table tank with hardy grasses and ferns with no problems?! All i was saying was i didnt think this tank was anything special...its only rocks in a tank ffs...I wouldnt sell 2-5 pre-built tanks a month if i had my head up my ass for ideas..
Nice tank but in my opinion every freshwater tank should have live plants and be well planted, and yes goldfish can be kept in planted tanks as long as they're well fed.
Im sorry... youve got a standard glass tank. with sand. and some plain rocks. and this went on the cover of some random magazine... what was the competition, a bucket and a toilet? could of atleast add plants..zzz check out japanese planted tanks for "ideas"
@b1030420 Lol retard, first off you can't add most plants that the "Japanese" planted tanks use because goldfish eat them. BTW, he actually does do ADA style planted tanks and even knows Mr. Amano himself. Have you not seen his video where he visits the Nature Aquarium in Japan?
That's also the highest quality brand tank you could possibly buy. Too much for you to be able to afford. Ignorant f*gs like you are so annoying thinking they know so much more than other people.
I love this layout, i am looking to buy a black moor, please can you help point me in the direction of where i would be able to purchase the sand and rocks in this video :) :)
Hey, so i have a challenge for you people at ADGVibe. Well i was wondering if it was at all possible to make a biorb/biube marine tank? ive never really seen a really nice marine biorb done, and i thought it would make a good little project.
I've been following you guys for like 8 years or more, can't remember. I like how you continue to innovate with your designs. Also I respect the cinematography/photography aspect of your work also. Don't know what else to say. Keep it up.
Sorry, hit return too soon-- anyway, I have had no problems using this substrate. It's Torpedo Beach from Carib-Sea and it's larger than a true sand. I consulted with Steve at RainGarden before using and he assured me it's fine. It's been great so far. And I do not remove the rocks but do scrub them off with an algae pad weekly.
That tank is beautiful! I'm a huge fan of fancy goldfish, this is my favorite tank you've posted so far! I do have a question for you. I noticed you seem to have a sand type substrate. Have you ever had a problem with fancies ingesting enough particles cause a problem with digestion? I love the look of sand but was afraid to try it myself as all my fish seem to make a hobby of vacuuming the bottom for leftover food bits. Also when cleaning a layout like this do you remove the stones? Great work
People typically say to provide 20 gallons for the first goldfish, and 10 gallons for each additional goldfish (assuming double-tailed variety). The more space you can give them, the better though; it's just easier to keep the fish healthy with more space per fish. :) You probably already know they can get quite large and they produce a lot of waste.
Why does it take 2 and 1/2 months to create a 1 minute video. I understand you want to produce quality content and that YouTube isn't a big priority for you. However at this rate you will get out 5 videos a year. I think you an put at least a little more effort into this channel.
@thebeastisback1996 the video certainly didn't take two months to capture, and believe us, we strive for both quality of content and to reach a point of regular updates, YouTube is one of our priorities when it comes to creating content - if not the biggest priority. However, we've had a lot of projects that have kept us backdated lately. Expect to see more soon.
We just try to keep our quality as best we can - we are human, and thus have our own set of faults, but we try to control it as much as possible! Ultimately it comes from want of us to provide more content, which I can understand and try to push us to continue to publish more and more as much as we can, and my replies try to reflect that sentiment. - Frank Wazeter.
Meh.. That's the first time i've said that about a scape done by this channel, but this one doesn't speak to me at all. Of course it isn't helped by the fish in the tank. I can't see these socalled goldfish a anything but freaks of human imagination, and hate to see them trying to swin with their useless tails.
Looking forward to the next one. I'm usually a huge fan of what you do.
