  • You have truly accomplished something deep, great and effective. At the age of 20 I was able to put together all notes required to play some of the most demanding piano works.

But I was not creating music & the frustration for feeling my phisical limitations overwhelmed me.

Since a few years resumed playing in a different spiritual perspective and I am finding it rewarding.

I feel discoverying "your way" can move me further ahead in exploring the benefits of playing in my life. Grazie&Ciao!

  • Count my husband as another person whose playing was transformed in two days. This series is fantastic, and will change the way you play whether you are a beginner or a pro.

  • Thanks a lot for taking a time and your dedication to make this video. I hope that it will help me to learn the piano.

  • your videos make me feel like i'm watching sesame street for piano players. when watching your videos, i have this happy stupid grin on my face like i'm just realizing 10 comes after 9. you have all the love, patiences and knowledge as any beloved character on that show. i also feel like i owe you thousands of dollars in piano lessons.

  • Very well expalined video.

  • I've only gotten to no. 16 of this series. It amazes me how thorough and logical this series is! Even the most fundamental things nonetheless feel great too review and redigest. After hitting a bottle neck in my playing for some years, your and Dr. Roy Holmes' videos have given me a second life in piano playing!

  • thank u sooo much!!!! theres r very helpfull!! ooh man ive been looking 4 these vids like forever and finally found them again

  • thanks for the video, it's really helpful

  • Thanks very much for your lessons ! My former teachers never gave such good advice. My playing improves very much. I feel more stability and ease and the sound I produce is bigger, less harsh than it used to be yet with less effort. Thanks to you I am back on track and the road to improvement is open again !

  • I subscribed to your channel today before I went to work.

At lunch I watched lesson 1 to 11a.

After work, my piano technique had improved remarkably. I just sensed that my shoulders were tight.

Now a particular problem which has been bugging me since 1988:

Scarlatti, Sonata in E, K380, L23. (See Horowitz).

Right hand, rapid repeats with another note:

    B B B F# B B B F# B B

(with the F# lower than the B).

  • I didn't have room (bug in YouTube where they say you have n letters left but then it gets rejected) to say thanks.

    So:

THANK YOU! (and I ain't even seen all the show yet!).

    Piano-ology rocks!

BTW I'm not an idiot. Google Seth Mould.

  • =)

  • Hi Sir,

You sent a message to me saying that you would like to help my problem with the tecnique when playing octaves, I really appreciate your concern and passion to teach me and others. I am going send you a video of me playing but first i am goiing to finish all your videos. Thanks again. It is truly get stuff

  • Gald to hear it, Jony and looking forward to hearing from you!

  • thank you very much to learn piano playing on a healthy way.

The first important thing to learn is always boring everybody wants to play directly on the piano instead of studying playing technique.

It's the same thing with martial arts (kung fu, karate) I want to break some blocks right away. But the first lesson we learn about the body (so boring) al lot of breathing excercise. 4 years later I can break some blocks I release it's was worth those boring lessons (in the beginning).

  • SoulmanDH ,you can't run if you don't know how to walk....what you say is true, but this is not the fault of the teachers, just the way things are. No one can give you a pill and turn you into something that requires many years of time and research

  • Wow, this is great. I just stumbled across it and I'm glad I did. Can't wait to review your videos and web page. Thanks for sharing your expertise and time.
