I found your channel and this video linked off of Jason's (myargronauts) channel.
I now want to be friends with Brian Adler. Of all of the videos I've ever seen on youtube, this is certainly the best. You have had some amazing friendships, and it shows clearly though this video.
A few Japanese friends of ours made it into that video, but mainly our friends were other foreigners like us working for JET. We tried to learn Japanese, but since our full time job had us speaking English, we found it difficult. Generally, yes, JETs stick together. It made for a good social support group.
Thank you for putting a good song in your video. This is a rare quality on youtube.

Hmm, did you mainly hang out with other JETs or also make a lot of Japanese friends and try and learn some Japanese?
I've heard a lot of JETs tend to stay in packs and don't go outside their group much.
