What FPS and interval settings did you use? I've only just found the interval shooting menu on my camera.

@boydyb This was actually shot from my little Logitech web cam. And if I remember correctly, the software was set to take a picture every 7 seconds. I think the video was put together at 15 frames per second.

i think that although i do not myself enjoy too much techno, in my opinion, this song with the video formation of the clouds time lapsed, it had a fast beat to compliment the fast passing of time and the melody of the song itself had the same feeling as if one were to watch it by itself.

If you want to try time lapse Google offers Picasa 3, free download, and it has and adjustable "Time Lapse" feature in their movie program. I just purchase a Time Lapse attachment for my Canon Rebel XTi and I really enjoy playing with it ... (Pclix) but I think the same results could be adchieved with a camcorder and the Picasa 3 Time Lapse program.

The camera was inside. I used my webcam and pointed it out the window. I set it up to take a photo every 7 seconds, I believe. I started it before I left, and stopped it when I got home. Put all the images together, and voila, time lapse goodness!

The camera setting is a bit annoying how it changes the exposure sometimes, getting lighter or darker suddenly.. .My canon does the same, you can make it so it doesn't do that im pretty sure. Do more if you can!

Latecomer:

The camera should be facing SE. You can see low cumulus clouds running towards NE initially...should be in the warm sector. Then it suddenly got dark as the cold front approached....and it rained. (TBC)

After the front had passed, you can see the low level and high level clouds running towards slightly different directions as the warm air was elevated. Low winds were from WNW and the higher winds were from WSW. Finally, the low clouds were gone due to sinking air and it became fine.

Before the evening, another storm brought us the lovely rainbow :)
