Open up and do something different once in a while besides what you usually do. Sadie and Kaya are gorgeous entertainers in this video, as well as, the rest of the actors. It's up there with R. Kelly doing his "snake" song. shake shake shake SHAKES ON! The only thing that gives belly dancers a bad name is belly dancers cutting down other belly dancers. Cattiness is brattiness. I agree with the people that are disappointed in Sadie and Kaya and how the dance is being misrepresented. This is part of the reason why we sometimes have to deal with negativity with our dance. Many people work hard trying to get the dancers to be respected but than other dances do something like this and just sets us back again. :(

And yes, they did have some control. They could of said no or said what would be appropriate and and what wouldn't be.

iT'S a rap video, not a belly dance video. Sadie and Kaya had no control of what they used of their belly dancing. They took what they wanted to promote the song and edited out what they didn't want.

I dislike this video for a few reasons: mainly because it appears to portray women as possessions to be bought, sold, used. As if a girl MUST flash flesh, become lap dancers etc to be desired, and to attract a man. As a fellow bellydancer, It's almost difficult to watch Sadie and Kaya like this, but granted their skills are still amazing. And dancing aside, the song isn't even a good one, up and coming rap artists? They won't go far if they keep putting out music like this. It never would have caught my attention if I hadn't known about Sadie and Kaya being in it, but this is all my opinion.

Believe me, I've heard more than ME man say that Russian chicks were the "hottest" and "best looking", a very narrow and Western definition of "beauty" that has nothing to do with how good the dancing is. Sadie and Kaya looked hot, moved fantastically, they weren't draped over the guys, had all lady parts well covered and weren't sexually suggestive. It is what it is you guys, sex, especially in hip hop vids, sells! I don't think Sadie and Kaya are any more inappropriate than the other women in the video. It is a fact that videos with sexy beautiful women SELL THE PRODUCT. I don't exactly find their porformance in good taste, but if I looked like those two and was given the opportunity to be in a music vid, you better believe I would do it. It dosn't make them bad people. Nor does it take anything away from their gift for dance.

I don't the way hiphop dance is watered down network bull but I don't shoot the dancers that agree to do it. Calling her a slut as if you know her is dead wrong.
