Almost all Bond films manage to bore me somewhere in the film, but Pierce always kept me entertained, that may not JUST have been because of him, the film makers also did a good job at making it fresh, new and entertaining but he's always been my favourite. I was born in 87 so I grew up during the Brosnan era. I don't care what anyone says, Pierce Brosnan is up there with Connery maybe even better. He's the quitessential bond. Handsome, Arrogant , and yet deadly at the same time. Goldeneye wil always be looked upon as one of the greatest Bond films ever made. Unlike practically every other Bond, Craig is actually...human. Sure Craig is the most cold, brutal, and bad-ass Bond ever, but he's by far the most vulnerable. He gets beat up (a lot), makes mistakes, he's cocky, wreck-less, naive at times, and he even falls in love which has devastating consequences. THAT is why Craig is without a doubt the BEST bond the franchise has ever seen....and Casino Royale is unquestionable the BEST written of all 22 films....

Casino Royale was the one with the critical & commercial success, thanks largely to director Martin Campbell. Without him, Craig turned into a scowling zombie. QoS sprang out of the starting block hanging on to CR's coat tails...and then it sank. I doubt Craig will ever get such numbers again. BTW, where did you see the inflation-adjusted B.O. numbers for Goldeneye?

I use to think that also (when i was much younger). As i got older you start to appreciate the franchise as a whole and the way they tell and procede with the story. The action is there, but its mixed in. If you want PURE action with not much else....watch some steven seagal movies? lol nah im kidding

Before watching Casino Royale i used to think Brosnan was the best bond by a mile but Daniel Craig changed that for me! I still think Brosnan had the best one liners, gadgets etc which we hardly see any of in Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace!

I have to disagree actually. See everyone seems to think that I think Brosnan is the "Best" bond. I didn't make this because I thought he was "The Best" I made it because he was great and that he, his version of Bond, will be missed. BTW I like Daniel Craig A LOT. Many people cant see passed his appearance, but sometimes cliches need to be broken.
I'm 14 so, Pierce is the first James Bond i've ever saw. Since then, I saw a lot of Bond Movies from the past and Brosman always been my favourite. Golden Eye is my favourite James Bond movie

Didn't find any clips, one advantage to a mac, is that there are a ton of freeware apps that will rip dvd's to your hard drive. One program will even rip the movies (or chapters) and directly convert them to Mpeg4 for you.

@vegamarco4 I don't expect 12-year olds like you to get much out of a movie other than explosions and shaky camerawork. It was not a Bond movie, and that character he played wasn't Bond.
Perhaps when you grow some pubes, and get cultured, you'll hear a "ding" as the light goes on. Just don't wait for it, I'm not expecting it to ever go off in your case.

@toasteroven2001 Casino royale and Quantum of Solace are among the best bond films ever and this is not only my opinion why don't you look it up? you should also look at the adjusted box office performance and you'll see that craigs film beat any other brosnan film. So just keep your fucking mouth shut

@vegamarco4, QoS dropped 60% in the 2nd week, and that's just in the US box office. It also got horrible reviews. Casino Royale was the one with the critical & commercial success, thanks largely to director Martin Campbell. Without him, Craig turned into a scowling zombie. QoS sprang out of the starting block hanging on to CR's coat tails...and then it sank. I doubt Craig will ever get such numbers again. BTW, where did you see the inflation-adjusted B.O. numbers for Goldeneye?

@jemimakahn QoS was consider as good as a bond gets with a much bigger box office than brosnan films and casino royale has the fifth highest box office performance of any bond (with adjusted millions). If craig was such a "zombie", why would anybody want to see his bond films? exactly you stupid fuck and I did the math my self.

I agree, Pierce is THE BEST!! i love the Bond films but it was Pierce's way of doing Bond that got me really into them...
DC is doing a great job too, tho, no doubt.

For me, Pierce Brosnan is the best James Bond in the history of Bond.
He could play the arrogant, womaniser to perfection - which is what Bond is all about. Something which, for me, Craig lacks.

Personally I hate it when people try to compare the both and completely trash brosnan. both are totally different, and thus shouldnt be subject to comparison with each other. Brosnan played the suave and debonair type with ease. Goldeneye was such a great movie (sidenote: the game kicked ass also)

Hey i just want to say that i think both Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan are very good Bonds, the best bonds perhaps, in their very own different style, don´t know why people that like Craig criticize Brosnan and viceversa, they´re both very good.

I use to think that also (when i was much younger). As i got older you start to appreciate the franchise as a whole and the way they tell and procede with the story. The action is there, but its mixed in. If you want PURE action with not much else....watch some steven seagal movies? lol nah im kidding

Before watching Casino Royale i used to think Brosnan was the best bond by a mile but Daniel Craig changed that for me! I still think Brosnan had the best one liners, gadgets etc which we hardly see any of in Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace!

I have to disagree actually. See everyone seems to think that I think Brosnan is the "Best" bond. I didn't make this because I thought he was "The Best" I made it because he was great and that he, his version of Bond, will be missed. BTW I like Daniel Craig A LOT. Many people cant see passed his appearance, but sometimes cliches need to be broken.

I'm 14 so, Pierce is the first James Bond i've ever saw. Since then, I saw a lot of Bond Movies from the past and Brosman always been my favourite. Golden Eye is my favourite James Bond movie

I will miss him too :). He's my favorite James Bond. The first Bond film I saw in the cinema was Die Another Day even though I was a fan long before then. This is a fantastic tribute...great job. Pierce was a great Bond I grew up with him in the tux.

Didn't find any clips, one advantage to a mac, is that there are a ton of freeware apps that will rip dvd's to your hard drive. One program will even rip the movies (or chapters) and directly convert them to Mpeg4 for you.
