Why the fuck people give here Dislike? It's soundtrack video so they should know what that video is... if you don't like fucking music don't even look for it, "Dislike bitcheS"
Aw, I miss this game. Too bad my disc broke and now it doesn't work on my new computer. I got Sim City 4, but it doesn't give me the same feeling of nostalgia.
Man this games music is epic I so regret giving this game away all those years ago after I got sim city 4 the music is so relaxing. off to ebay with me
absolutely nothing better than simcity 3000....listening to this music allll dayy and building big ass cities and i would always not enact on any of the ordinances lol
somehow even though failed at this game so much and sim city 4 is such a deeper and easier game, the music, the atmosphere of this game, the cartoony advisors and the memories of playing it with my dad when I was a kid just make me go back and play it over and over again
I think they should seriously release sim city 2000 and 3000 for free. It's not like they're flying off the shelves, right? ( I'm sure if they rebranded it and sold it again they would be)
This was my favorite song out of the whole soundtrack of the game. They should have released this and all of the other SC3000 gems on a soundtrack CD.
i put al SC 3000 soundtrack into SC 4, i still play SC 4 some times but wouldn1 do it without SC 3000 music. and also remembers my childhood. i was addicted to sc 3000 playing it more than 6 hours per day during holidays.
I hop the the next true SimCity would have more a orcanic feel tords it like all the roads can go any ware and all the build do not look the same so for a more realistic city
So nostalgic right now! I remember i was like 10 or 11, my uncle had this game at his house & thought i would like it, boy was he right! I would spend hours on it, even if it was just destroying the city lol. When i hear this lovely music i can still see myself having a good time with this game on a nice summer day. I miss being a kid :'(
@nesleonidas Just drag a road across a waterway: should do it automatically as long as you don't have buildings or pipes where the bridge's ends start.
Great game....great music....this song brings me right back to when I was like, 10. I had no idea how to run a city, and I was always in the red. But, I had fun!
This game's soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard, in a video game. I thought I was the only one who loved the tunes from SC3K, but it's nice to know I was wrong. I liked the ambient stuff from SC4, but this was way better.
I'm so reinstalling this, havent played it in years, glad I didnt get rid of it :D
Best Sim City. last one before the Sims. Sims 2 was the ebst Sims. Which I still got. Maxis make great games. And Spore, got that too. But EA ruined Spore, EA need to let Maxis do what they did when Sim City 3000 was made.
@markthewhalekiller As your Financial Advisor, I recommend that you lease out the excessive recreational installations you purchased because by the end of Q2, you are looking at a 8,525 simoleon deficit(year-to-date). Raising taxes is also out of the question because the stock market did not average as high as it did. The last thing you want is people's homes being foreclosed, businesses closing, and industries shutting down. Blah blah blah keep making money blah blah get up into the black...
@gingerpower9613 keep moving the road over a body of water until the path is blue. The terrain on both sides needs to be level and unobstructed by buildings. Hope that answers your question.
I remember sitting in the car once when I was a kid. The radio was on and some strange, but familiar music was playing. I asked my mother what kind of music it was, and she said it was jazz. And I remember saying that I thought it sounded just like the music of Sim City 3000.
Ah, good memories, I found the cd yesterday and installed it. Surprisingly it works! So im back to building horrible cities like i did when i was little. haha
i'm amazed at how rich and wonderfull the Sim City franchise has become over the generations.
i'm a die hard fan of the original Sim City, even though i mostly played SC3k along with my dad who introduced me to that game. Ever since, i've been hooked on building cities... go figure why though XD
i'll have to try to find an online copy of the game so that i can play it again :)
Hee hee, that's weirdly so appropriate to listen to in a big city.

don't expand too fast; start with low density zoning, and lower the budget for crime and fire. Buses/ trains aren't important in the beginning, and industry jobs should give some cash.
What i found is that if you leave a city alone, the income rate gradually increases, especially as land value increases and bigger buildings move in..
ok what u do.... 2 tiles of road, 1 zone from residential, comm., and industrial
then u make ur power plant, id set it close disregarding lung problems lol, then a park or 2, water tower, connect to a neighbor. NO SCHOOLS OR POPO STATIONS OR FIRE ETC ETC...
