I disagree that Java is slow, simply is a complex language and have to work, is another example of nintendo 64 emulator JARIO64 fully functional at a fast speed, the only inconveniences is the use of the ram and CPU.

Java is not a very complex language... the real part that makes it slower then some others is because it is an interpreted language and is not compiled to machine code and ran in real time. Java code must be interpreted (By an interpreter), translated to machine code, and then ran all in real time, thus performance is slower than pre-compiled languages.

jpcsp is in java ..java is a very slow program and all the runtimes are laggy

I recommend this game to use the so -Xss64m and will see an increase over the video framerate, menus reach 40-60fps ingame and getting 30fps in many areas with some drop to 20fps :p

jpcsp team is the best thanks for all this, i think that is very rare than psp is a strong hardware for multithread emulation, but i wait that the developed of this emu makes more speed for the games, maybe lacks a lot of changes for better performances in aproach every resources in the gpu and dual cores modes, dynamic recompiler, hacks zero video and all this like disable antialliasing methods, or hz methods or something,,, good luck
