  • Hey, I'm thinking of rolling the dice in a PPR dynasty league and trading TJ Houshmandzadeh for Steve Slaton. What do you think?

  • I know it's tempting but you can trade Housh who is proven for a guy that has had two good weeks. If you flipped the situation I would be proud of you. I picked up Slaton off waivers and I am about to trade him for B. Edwards. That is what good waiver is all about... pick a guy up and trade for a known product. Housh is known and I wouldn't make the trade. Very tempting I know.

  • Right... Turner and Barber are studs, but if you had a stud on bye week this week then you would put Buckhalter in... good luck this week

  • I have a question you wouldn't start Buckhauler [spelling?] over my dude Michael Turner and Marion Barber, right?

  • You are absolutely right; I specialize in dynasty leagues with tons of teams. Steve Slaton was drafted in most 16 team dynasty leagues and is not available in most leagues. I am really trying to bring to light super deep waivers. If Slaton is available he is an must grab. Some obvious people will be left out. Thanks for the feedback. Slaton is a great pick-up.

  • What about Steve Slaton!?!?!? Put up huge numbers against possibly the best defense in the league

  • Right when I posted this I was punching myself because I watched it the first time and realized I was killing Le'Ron McClain's name the entire time... Thank you for pointing that out, I was wondering if someone would.

Trent Edwards is better than Gus but Trent is typically not on waivers; if he is on yours then GRAB him with a quickness.

In PPR Buckhalter is going to be a beast of a man. Bears run defense is a beast, but to get a starting RB on waivers is rare.

    Thanks for the comment!!!

  • I think the Bucs only aired it out so much because they knew that trying to run against the Bears is so tough. I don't expect Griese to do much.

Also, it's pronounced (La'ron McClain), not (LEE'ron McCain)

I like the Jeremy Stevens choice.

I would say Trent Edwards > Gus Frerotte this week because he's going against the Rams, although Edwards isn't as available.

Buckhalter won't be as great as you think because he's going against a solid Bears defense and Westbrook isn't that hurt.
