We need to have a realistic approach to this. If I were the governor and I can't get an increase in police or border patrol personnel or some kind of checkpoint system. My bill for Arizona would be crushing, devastating fines on anyone hiring illegal labor. Hit those trying to hire cheap labor and taking jobs away from our citizens and legal residents in their greedy pockets. This bill is simply ineffective and will create more problems than solutions for Arizona.

If White people (and Americans in general) stayed put in Arizona, there would be no room for the illegals there. If people would stop moving out of town the moment they see more than one Mexican in their neighborhood, they would still own a house, and therefore no room for illegals in that neighborhood.
My point is Whites and Americans should stay in their cities and hold their ground. If they did, there would be no room for illegals. They would have to look elsewhere to live.

Here's an idea Governor. Stop all Medicaid payments for patients or education for children of parents who cannot produce citizenship documentation. Then, use that money for AZNG for border duty. Also, advertise to all that can hear you that illegals will no longer receive free health care or education or anything because the Feds have abdicated their responsibility to secure the border and AZ has to pay for it themselves. If the Feds don't like it, tough, it's your state, Governor ;)

It's obvious they want to portray the rancher as the good american guy killed by the evil foreigner. It's just like the whole "indians and cowboys" game your grandpa played as a kid. The media is very manipulative in the portrayal of people. They haven't even identified the killer.

anyone can say it was an illegal who killed the rancher. I can say it was an illegal from Mars, but there's no proof and the murderer hasn't been identified. So without official proof, how can they enact a law to go after all immigrants? So, if the killer had been black, are they gonna go after all blacks? Timothy McVeigh was responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing; I never saw the law being enacted against all white people. There's no official proof How is this not prejudiced and racist?

@karlito5757 Seriously, all respect intended, I don't think its racist. I think the deal here is the validity of citizenship. America works on the idea that if you do something wrong, you are a citizen, and therefore can be held accountable. Its scary if your enemy has no ties to justice. Just a thought.

We need to increase our Border Patrol forces, build fences with cameras control towers...Bleh, the point is whether its a Democrat, Republican, Independant whatever, they always screw things up or are too shortsighted to get the job done, this bill will make zero point zero impact on stopping illegal immigration in AZ.

I don't agree with all of Governor Brewer for president talk. Folks, lets go to the seashore with a tin cup, wade in the shallow water, stick our cup out to an incoming wave, and try to stop any seawater from that wave from coming in. That's what this law is, it's too shortsighted to address the problem.

that news caster is kind of a dits. I'm so glad someone has the guts to stand up and challenege this problem. These people are leeching off our country and avoiding paying taxes. Some of them been here for decades and dont get their paper work, this is what they get for being lazy. Alot soldiers are fighting for their freedom right now and its the least the illegals could do is obey our laws.

We need to challenge our local politicians too folks. Don't vote Republican, Democrat, Independent, Klingon whatever. There will be no Republican Knights in shining armour in November. It will be the same ole crappy politics whether the Democrats hold the House or the Republicans retake it. Nothing's going to change either way they Both screw up our country on a regular basis. So its our duty to ourselves to vote for the person locally who we feel will get the job done period. Just my two cents

We need to have a realistic approach to this. If I were the governor and I can't get an increase in police or border patrol personnel or some kind of checkpoint system. My bill for Arizona would be crushing, devastating fines on anyone hiring illegal labor. Hit those trying to hire cheap labor and taking jobs away from our citizens and legal residents in their greedy pockets. This bill is simply ineffective and will create more problems than solutions for Arizona.

I wish this new bill WOULD actually stem the tidal wave of illegal immigrants coming into Arizona but it really won't. Without an overwhelming increase in police officers and border patrol personnel this bill is the equivalent of trying to stop a tidal wave with a tin cup. Without large and devastating enforced fines on anyone hiring illegal alien labor in the US they will still come in. Without the support of the Latin Community to help police fight crime which is critical for success ditto.

@EgyptianLuverP Grow up dude. I'm a Hispanic American and love the fact that SB1070 is going into effect. I arrived here in AZ a year ago starting college, and I haven't regretted the decision since. Every day I am becoming more and more proud to be an Arizonian. I wish that the whole country would have a law like ours.
