  • What was the signal chain in this video?

  • @cholzbaugh Peavey Wolfgang USA Standard with EMGs into the MP1 into an R3FX Cabinet Simulator (visit r3fx dot com) into studio monitors.

  • FUCKING ORGASM! BETTER THAN SEX!

  • how much do you think one of these costs?

  • @2jamesaprice The cost of the mods are on my website at r3fx dot com. As for an MP1, they are typically in the $200 price range - give or take depending on condition. I still offer these mods, check out my site.

  • @minpinful Not necessarily - while this mod does allow you to still have the same available tone as before, it dramatically improves the EQ section, allowing you access to more tones. You could never scoop the mids this far on a stock unit, which is required if you want a more "Mesa" sort of tone. This mod also helps with the inherent noise in a stock unit. Obviously the bass and treble are also more flexible than stock.

  • Nuno Bettencourt got his amazing tone from an ADA for the pornograffitti album..always wanted that sound.. classical nineties rock sound..very nice

  • can you still find ada mp-1 on market?

  • what is the riff at 1:25~?

  • @whitebulb0 That's the main riff from ZZ Top's "Cheap Sunglasses"

  • badlands!!! sweet mods!!

  • What is the song at ~6:08?

  • @MerkulovAlex

"Youth Gone Wild" by Skid Row

  • Can I buy this same exact moded ADA MP-1 from you ? I am from Israel.

  • Can you sell me that modded ADA MP1 ?

  • Damn ! I WANT THAT TONE ! How much it would cost to mod my ADA MP-1 to that same exact tone ?

  • awesome!

  • Live Wire!!!!5/5

  • hey it sounds awesome, i have one of the first models with the level switch (stock). i cant seem to get a nice crunchy rhythm tone without having to stick my furman pq-4 and another graphic eq infront of it to up the mids for crunch, it just sounds too muddy. :S

what was that in/out that came on the screen when you were dialing in a tone? :S

  • That was me turning the effects loop off.

Doesn't really make a difference in tone when there's nothing in the effects loop, so it wasn't necessary for me to do that really, just habit.

  • thanks for a reply, i didnt know you could turn the effects loop on or off lol

sorry to be a bother, but if you dont mind me asking are you using a power amp here? and im guessing your running out of the A or B outputs instead of the effects send? thanks.

  • No power amp; just guitar straight into the ADA, the A output to a cabinet simulator pedal (search my videos for the cabinet simulator that I build) and then into a set of studio monitors.

  • Dig the Jake E. Lee Riff, Jim. Badlands...badass!

  • Sounds great Jim. I'm looking forward to cranking that out of my Mesa 2:90.

Those 80's tone presets shows you how long the thing hasn't been used.

    Thanks again for the work!

    Bill.
