i have to agree with all the other people, in jive, there's no point in dancing nice figures if you havent got your technique right.

also, a nice dress wont make you dance better, and perhaps there are more suitable dresses for your routine...

There are other dance styles being referred to as "Jive" besides the International Ballroom style. These styles pre-date the Ballroom version. If you step outside the ballroom universe you may learn some things.

But this isnt modern jive or the old rock and roll style jive either.... it is international ballroom style! Agree with cloudscounter... the routine is cool, but no point doing complicated steps until you can do basics with decent leg action.
