my point exactly as you stated.... dwts is more of a popularity contest that a talent dance contest. donny osmond won based on his popularity more than his talent as dancer.
it's not a good rumba at all....and donny osmond won season 9. the trouble with dwts is that it's really a popularity contest, not a talent contest. if you have a fan base out there, your likelihood to win is a lot better than the other celebrities even if you are not the most talented on the dance floor. it's a twisted concept.

they only one week that counts to determine the winner is the week of the freestyle
mya blew that week and let donny tie with her
if she had gotten a higher score and been in first by hereself fanbase my not of matter and she would of won
