Als fervent vliegtuigspotter (toen ik 15 jaar was), musicus, organist en assistent-koster in de Grote of sint Bavokerk in Haarlem is het bijzonder leuk dat daar vanaf begin augustus tot begin september de Fokkertentoonstelling is met een heuse Spin midden in de kerk. Ik heb dit filmpje dan ook met genoegen bekeken.
Flight in any form is a magical sight. The shot at 3:14 says it all. Look at that thing? Would you fly it? Sitting there on a piece of wood with these fabric wings attached held together with all these wires. Then looking down from even 100 meters & thinking that's a long way to fall. Anthony Fokker was as brave as they came & was master of the airplane in the air. Prima.
