This video is so cute! I totally love this song and it fits Melody perfectly. I also consider Melody to be one of my favorite sequel characters. I don't get why people hate her either.
But anyway, congrats on an awesome video! The clips matched perfectly. And the raised pitch, I think, just made the singer's voice sound higher and more childlike, so I think she kind of sounded like Melody.
