great information thanks, have anyone used MACs latest product line? its quite hard to get hold of decent makeup in Modesto yet you can get amazing cosmetic samples using "GratisMakeupSamples", they're cool.

Yayyyyyy! 2 Thumbs up for using a "real" model. So many makeup artists use kids who have no imperfections to start with. The model is a gorgeous woman with character and expression in her face :)

Im, a makeup artist and I have worked with luminess before, and know the line very well, now the only issue people have is well how do you reapply if you need through out the day your not going to walk with the compressor . I carry mine because I never know when im going to use it, and because the company gave it to me but its not expensive for all you can do with it

The plastic look you are talking comes from those "silicone" foundations which are not natural. They feel like a mask. Silicone is out dated foundation for airbrush plus we question how safe it is (breathing silicone?) Luminess is natural mineral based. Try our Matte foundation series, you will get the long life of silicone without the shine or the plastic feel. our makeup feels like nothing. Hey, please demo it on your youtube page for everyone?

Rec'd mine for my Bday. Honestly, its a real hassle to clean each time & set up! (Not as easy as shown)....However, if you want your face to look flawless and really hide blemishes, zits, etc- this TRULY WORKS!!! My face comes out looking beautiful w/ a GREAT finish so in the hassle of cleaning & such, I would say it IS worth the purchase!

It takes about a week of getting use to, it takes an average user about :30 to do makeup and another 3-5 sec to place a few drops of water to blow out the stylus, it can be very fast.

I would have been done with my foundation using my 187 brush five minutes ago! I like the stippling brush by MAC.

This was interesting. Love the airbrushing concept & would like to see more. On the other hand, the video could have been MUCH better if the camera was set at a different angle. As it is, the artist's hand blocks almost all of the close-up shots. We can not see what is happening on the face. Lessens the quality of the learning experience. :(

Rosette, It may look like way too much work at first but when you use it, you will first see the great difference in result. Then secondly, you will realize that it actually is so much faster than regular makeup.
