the trick is to start out exactly like you did: get the pick to lie so you can see it in the middle of the hole when you look directly from above.

but then, instead of flipping (which causes the pick to move), you sort of swing the guitar in circular path, so that the pick is still lying in the same spot, being pressed down by the circular motion. then when the hole is facing downwards, stop the motion, pick falls out

just use a pencil to trap the pick near the guitar label. Then turn guitar 180 degrees and let go,.,there, it will drop out. Don't use this insane and useless method that wastes TIME!

I lol'd at this. I always find it easier to just whack the tension down on ADGandB and just get the hand in there haha, but wheres the fun in that? If not i just tip it so the neck is pointing directly up then fretboard paralel to the floor and facing sown the slowly tilt it so the pick slides down the center line of the inside of the front of the body and out of the hole. ive never actually tried that way though.

Hmm, since I only play electric I was never confronted with that problem. But I am pretty sure a second way to get it out is getting it under the middle of the hole then sticking some stiff paper or whatever through the strings and placing the end right next to th pick on the bottom and then rotate the guitar so that the paper acts as a ramp and the pick will slide on it through the strings and be free... until the next time :)

get another pencil and put the strongest glue that can be found on one of its end, touch the pencil with the glued end, let it dry for several minutes, and take out the pencil along with the pick on its tip. Take the pick off and there you have it. And now you also have two-edged pencil! Ha ha ha :D

I usually just get my pick right about where you said to put it and shove my hand in my guitar so my pointer and middle finger are touching the bottom of the body and then use my pointer finger nail as an edge to let me get my middle finger finger the pick and put in between my two fingers. Either that I flip it up-side down and just shake the crap out of it until it flies out and I lose it on the ground.
