Ya I know. Blanka, Zangief, E.Honda, Viper, and other characters with fast recovery's can be hard to fight with guy. He just takes skill and I figure if I use him I'll get real good I got him to a B+ now..

@Nexttimeillwin Bison isnt the easiest to use. I disagree with you on that one, you may have personal hate for Bison players. This Guy player knew the match up. Bison needs to play more of a distance game with Guy try to keep him within st. mk range. Good match though i respect that Guy user.

I think he meant that scissor kick pressure is one of the most brainless forms of pressure in this game perhaps. Compared to guy's pressure game which is far from safe if your block strings aren't tight.

@junitsadelheid I agree with you, but Guy's links are not safe even if your strings are tight. They still leave a reversal window. Guy is one of the most, if not the most, difficult character to play high level.

I main guy, and I think his only real block strings are crouching jabs and target combo - run/stop. I'm not nearly as good as pedro here so I get blown up by Bison whenever I run into him. Definitely need a good ground game to prevail in this match up.

@FalconBoxe Guy is not a player you can spam shit with and win, he's very technical and everything *I* saw here appeared intentional - from the use of cr. MP as anti-air to st. MK as a mid-range poke. What you saw here was fantastic use of Guy's poking game and pressure. When someone knows a character well enough, it all comes instinctually - most landslide wins appear to look psychic.

To add, Guy is one of the hardest characters to master, luck and random moves will get you nowhere.
