    I also highly recommend headbutting the guy until he gets knocked out from the back of your skull (true story, on your feet lmao).

    Also, I think with a more firm grip your only option is to grab for the other arm, and if you get it free, you can a lot of stuff.

  • @multiHappyHacker Getting a head butt in might be tough if the guy is fast and applies pressure quickly and especially if he presses his face behind your head. Another technique that may work here as the person defending is to grab for a pinky or a thumb instead of the radial bone on the forearm.

    I know it doesn't work dude, you have to grab for their other arm (the one not around your neck) and get it free and work with it, and try headbutting and the chin-tuck, just a combination of shit seems to work. To be fair though, it may work if close in strength.

    I would bet you 90% of anyone putting you in a rear choke isn't going to expect you to flail your head into theirs and may be stunned long enough to get free. Hit the face with the back of your head? Even better.
