It's actually what wolves do to greet each other anyway, but more importantly there is a training technique where you train your dog never yo apply any pressure with its teeth when mouthing, where allowing contact between teeth and flesh is necessary.
Your teaching your dog incorrectly. The bigger dog was correcting a behavior that shouldn't be allowed. Dogs need a pack order that you aren't providing, it's cute now but if he nips a child and draws blood that's enough to get sued and your risking the dog be put to sleep.
talk about bad puppy training just go head let him bite you it may not hurt now but wait til he gets older then try and tell him to stop bet he doesnt listen

that just shows the other dog wanting to show the smaller one some discipline and that its not allowed to bite, the dog did the right thing
