I think it's totally possible, these days you need to provide a ton of personal information just to register on any site any where- to better customize and to suit your need as they called it. You can think about things like right to bear arms, suppression of speech, doing nothing without the goverment knowing/storing something about it. I use a VPN, never use real information and everything I do is encrypted and erased many times over. Google has no idea who the fk I am. If you're stupid enough to give ANY real information about yourself away, then you deserve what you get. Also, Google and other companies rarely demand for your REAL name. YOU decide to give that to them which leaves only you to blame.
