  • What's the brand of MIDI USB cable you're using?

  • Wow. You play amazingly. Is that a jazz piece or were u just messin around? Anyway thanks for the vid upload I'm looking into doing this with my GarageBand for iPad. :-)

  • It's an 1/8" speaker cable

  • What is plugged into the iPad's headphone jack? Is that another accessory??

  • I just purchased a MIDI to USB cable and the Camer Connection Kit for iPad. I connected the iPad to the digital piano just as you did here and fired up Garageband.

All was working well until I noticed that I was getting far less than 16 note polyphony. Very annoying to have your low rumbling bass notes cut out suddenly when you start playing melody in the higher octaves and I have no idea why?! I'd be happy with 16 notes sustaining at once but I'm getting about 9 or so. Please help!

  • Great playing! Can you tell me what the "1x1" relates to for the MIDI cable please?

    Cheers.

  • Hi. Do you know if the ipad can provide energy to the controller? Tnks

  • your style is absolutely beautiful, man. totally what i wish i could sound like. oh and this Uno-ipad-garageband solutions is EXACTLY what ive been looking for since the hammond emulation on GB is perfect for me. thanks for sharing!

  • It works!

  • where the piano sound from sounds like a motif power grand. still have my kx88 had it from new i think i will keep it forever. i use the yamaha motif xf8 and xs7 live now days but the kx88 was the mile stone for where we are today. they are great to play like the video.

  • Yes. This will work perfectly. It's not as sweet sounding as Ivory, but it sounds pretty damn good if you ask me!

  • Cool, looks like you found your new backup sound module!
