@goofygoober41198 Hello. No, I did not breed my own fish. I got them at local petstores around Philly. The black and orange orandas are now completely orange. The black totally faded over the months. I'm guessing that they were originally all black, but then started to fade to orange when they were given to the petstore.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE REPLY welll i bought a new black moor but he never goes up to the surface to eat his fish flakes can u please help he is only around the size of a thumb p.s nice fish
@123codfan Try sinking pellets. They're better for goldfish b/c they won't gulp air. If you ARE using flake food, submerge it underwater and let go so that they're underwater, not just sitting at top.
I actually have a small telescope who is a very poor swimmer (AND bad vision b/c of his eyes). I started hand feeding him actually, to make sure that he gets enough food; otherwise, the other goldies tottally steal ALL the food away.
@123codfan I also have a feeding ring in my tank for the telescope to find food floating in (i use several types of food throughout the day). Telescope learns that there is food in the ring eventually and will go straight up to the ring to feed. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
hey ,awsome, can you check out my fish to see if there male or female!! please click on my name !! if you cant identify them i can make a better vid if it helps of the vent and fins !
@hobosrhere12 Well... I've read that you shouldn't mix them, but I have for years, and they're fine. Just make sure that they get good that sink to the bottom b/c the goldies will get most of the food. Mine does fine. Make sure you give them somewhere to hide with decorations. They love a small cave area to hide b/c the goldies follow them sometimes b/c they know that corys are good at finding food on the bottom.
i did some research on veiltails, and it seems that real veiltails have squared fins without the lobes. so i think mine is just a long-tailed fantail! it got pretty big since this video.
Those fish are gorgeous.. I want a red black one just like yours.
