@ThePrayingMantis08 because the original and the unhacked SM64 had a glitch like that. if you moon jump to the place where that "death door" is located(IN THE VIDEO, of course), you will pass through the wall, and fall behind the castle's door. They call that glitch "The Black Room of the Death".

That would explain it.

You see, the castle tower actually isn't a solid object. In fact, if you move the one on the castle, you'll have an invisible tower! The colision is part of the level geometry.

So, basicly, you just put a floating door out of bounds. :D

It is possible to make Mario OOB without gitching, but you need an object to stand on for that.
