@Vaelen77 most of the more advanced siege tactics were started by the SHC, I should know as I helped design them. This was one of our really early attempts, when Lif/SHC took two keeps we held them undefeated for about 9 months till we all got tired of the game.

I honestly don't know how sieges are run these days, but up until we came on the scene people would just zerg up all 48 on one point and try to muscle through. At least on Cimmeria we were the first to actually spread out trebs.

Man was it depressing to watch this. Funcom fucked sieges in any update post 1.04. The game is less stable now then it was 6-9 months ago, more lag, more server/zone crashes - it's a joke. I would avoid this dieing game at all costs.

The Devs (might just be Silliron) has their collective head shoved so far up their own ass they don't see what they have done to the game. @Rasiel1337 Because WoW has low PC requirements, simple. Most of the people lagg even in WoW raids/bg's and have 10-5 years old PCs which can only run aoc in 10 fps if they can at all. I've played WoW for 4 years already and also play AoC, I'd say at least half the people who I've played with in WoW couldn't even run AoC.

lol no.... 30 days per month x 1 hour per day x 6 months = 180 hours. When in the world's #1 launch guild i was 80 in a week and a half with about 5-6 hours per day. Let's give you the benefit of the doubt and say it took me 2 full weeks. 14 days x 5.5hours = 77 hours. It def does not take 180 hours to level 1-80

This game really is epic. I love this game, I tried WAR and WoW but they don't even compare to this game. Everyone disses it because they played it at launch. Now it is updated and works really well. Awesome game.

dude, I resubbed 2 weeks agao, Lvl 30 now. The problems I encountered @ launch are fixed, the game runs around 60 FPS on MAX settings. No crashed, no annoying bugs, still lotsa stuff to do but the game clearly ROCkS!!!!

I had a conq and played for 2months since early access and im thinking of comming back but im on a pve server so its a bit boring. when will they introduce the char server switching feature? dont fancy rerolling was upto tier3 on armour and gems i think and plus my 150g mount and stuff so to much to work for again.

i gotta question. i played this game back in july when it came out and i LOVED IT. although since my computer wasnt made on the sun i couldnt enjoy the game with only 5 fps. So now that my house is remodeled and we have this plasma in the media room i want to play it on the tv. is this possible? i have a server that i can send the information to the tv. ik the tv can run it cuz obviously its h.d. sooo is this possible thanks

Great video, vent was funny to listen too. The battle was a 34 on 26 with Primal Fury (D&D+Know Thyself) being the 26. The keep was around 50% at the end. It was a close fight. Death and Debauchery has lead 3 siege defenses against SHC (2 with Assyrian Code and 1 with Primal Fury) and did not lose any of the 3. The closest was when a keep got down to 18%.

So if you invade and destroy all those buildings, do they have to use recouses to rebuild them all back after the battle? And if so, isnt that unfair that the invaders would have little to lose except for some siege engines and their lives which I would think costs them nothing?

The buildings in the battlekeep zones are very easy and cheap to rebuild. The real pain is if the keep gets taken down, since you can't upgrade it for about a month per tier. The invaders have to spend their guild's PVP points in bidding on the attack time. Also, having a battlekeep gives your whole guild buffs, so having to defend it is pretty fair, I think.

Also, in response to Acesahn, the attacker has points that they have to give up by attacking. They can be outbid by other people with higher points.

This keeps the same people from potentially keeping another guild on lockdown, unless the attackers do a LOT of PvP, gaining points constantly. You can bid with any amount of points, but you're likely to be outbid if it's a really good window.
