Very Sad, especially when they die prematurely. My yellow Labrador for 15yrs just died two months ago and I'm still not over it. Much condolences and Good-Luck raising your other dog Lilly, I still have one last dog too that we got to keep him company.
I am so sorry for your loss. I loss my aussie 5 years ago of kidney birth defect. He was going on 3 years old. I still miss him. I now have a chocolate lab mix. Time has helped where the pain is now bearable. I hope for you that time will help.

I spend as much time as a I can with him and I am super-super-protective - almost mad. Problem with small dogs is they are very vulnerbale. I hardly walk my dog anymore because there are just to many big mean dogs around, often off leash - can't risk it! Why do so many people have to have big ugly killer dogs!!?

wow, this made me cry :'( i have a little min pin, shes only one, she got out a couple of days back, and when i went outside i heard a loud noise, then i saw a huge truck coming down my road, Rubi ran straight towards it, i thought she was dead when i got over there, luckily the truck had stopped in time and she had ran out the other side, i lost my other dog when i was 10. he was my world. if i ever lost Rubi it would be so hard, once again your video touched me. feel better soon xx

Im so sorry for ur loss, i cried when i watched this, he was such a cute little boy. I lost 4 cats in the space of 3 months this yr, 2 were old but 1 was only 2 and a half and he was my special baby i thought i would die and it was so sudden, he was really healthy one minute then sick the next. I also lost my 17 yr old cat and 14 yr old as well. My thoughts are with u. Take care

I can sympathize with how this must have felt. I lost my best dog friend, Smoky, to heart worms in 1996, and I still miss him. I've had other pets since then that have died, and I miss them too, but Smoky was really special. So was Aowen, my cat friend, who literally picked me to be her man when I was going through a really hard time. Just about the time when things were looking brighter, she was killed by a car. Seems unfair, but I have hopes that we will be re-united some day.

Im sorry about your dog. I relate to the sadness. I had a cat for 17 years and a grey hound dog killed him. I couldnt believe i had kept him safe all those years and he hd to go like that.

I don't think he will have moved far from your side and don't doubt that he's still right beside you when you wake up (but without the stinky breath). I hate it when I hear of little dogs being killed by large ones, but you obviously loved Dusty and he had a happy life where he was very much cherished and cared for. That's more than some poor dogs get. He was a lucky boy to be a part of your life. All we can do for our pets is love them and care for them as long as they live and you certainly did that for Dusty. I'm sorry for your loss. Big, heavy and angry dogs should never be out without somebody watching on them. I've had to (literally) wrestle a couple of times with a dog of my size to keep my own dog alive.

i had a blue cattle dog called "Dusty" and i had to put him down 9 years ago,,, we had him for 14 years and it was like putting down a family member i know how u feel...

Im really sorry to what happened to you dog. Hes probally the cutest dog i have ever seen!you were lucky to have your little doggy, and he was very lucky to have you.I recently just lost my bird. And now im crying just of the thought. When i woke up that morning opened the cage door and saw him lying there on the ground i fell to pieces. I got him on my birthday and now every year when i have my birthday my eyes fill with tears and i cry. RIP Dusty, you will always be loved. Love Brooke

Cry, Cry, Cry it'll help when my 13 year old Bull Terrier Ned passed on from having a good life crying really helps and before you know it a year will have passed and you'll have another little bundle of joy, we called our new baby Bull Terrier Leo he's 18 months old now. Owen Emerald Qld Australia

naw... that is soo sad. i am so sorry for you. I had a dog named peaches that got put down when she was fine cause the stupid vet made a mistake.. i miss her soo much but dw it gets easier... what did they do 2 the rotweler i mean if it can do that to a dog wat can it do 2 a human?

I'm very sorry for your loss.
I know what its like to lose a pet.
My dog Ziggy was put down about 5 years ago because he had severe brain damage due to improper breeding.
I still think of him alot, And I miss him.
My heart goes out to you at this sad time.

happened to my grandmothers dog, it was a pomerian and a pitbull killed it, gets you sad and angry when stuff like that happens.

Oh honey i'm so sorry to hear about Dusty. He seemed to be a very happy little man and you provided him with a fantastic life. I don't think he will have moved far from your side and don't doubt that he's still right beside you when you wake up (but without the stinky breath). I burst into tears when I saw this, but more because he went from being a stray to being loved and cared for. I think your a wonderftul woman with an a,mazing little friend waiting to meet you again on the side.

im so sorry about Dusty :( I know how you feel, my pet duck of 7 years died two days ago because my dog got out and bit him... im still hurting and i give you my love! I'm sure he is still with you, and will always be forever!

I hate it when I hear of little dogs being killed by large ones, but you obviously loved Dusty and he had a happy life where he was very much cherished and cared for. That's more than some poor dogs get. He was a lucky boy to be a part of your life. All we can do for our pets is love them and care for them as long as they live and you certainly did that for Dusty. He'll never be far away from you. God bless you.

I'm sorry for your loss. Big, heavy and angry dogs should never be out without somebody watching on them. I've had to (literally) wrestle a couple of times with a dog of my size to keep my own dog alive.

I've never had a pet myself but I remember how my favourite cousin loved her dop Sparkle so much. I've seen her grief at his loss. I can understand how you must be feeling. But I am sure that unlike we sceaming, vileful and spiteful humans, our pet dogs always reach the pearly gates. Even though I dont know you but please accept my heart-felt condolences on your loss.

I am so truely sorry for your loss of Dusty. I know how devastating it is. I do have to say I have rottweilers and I want you to know, that not all rotts are killers. I just lost my Sadie in July, so I know somewhat what you are going through. I hope this doesn't turn you against all rotts. Please. I know Dusty will be in your heart like my Sadie will be in mine always. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss. Bless you.
