You probably need to take it, as a starter, after you workout. Check if the pills are sustained-release or instantly absorbed.. so you can time your absorption when you most need it.
Listen to your body, you will be bale to gauge it when you need it. It is better to take baby steps :-)

Amino acids are the simple proteins that build muscles.
Anabolic Steroids are the hormones that increase the synthesis (absorption) of the protein... the protein that builds the muscles.
Did you get it? So no matter how much steroids you take, if you do not have the protein for it to synthesize.. it wont be as effective. Balance is key.

Yes, Being vegetarian has its limitations. Are the pills sustained-release? Chewables (easily digested)?
You may to check on timing taking the tablets so you can absorb it as soon as your body needs it.

Creatine consists of the 3 aminos: arginine, glycine, and methionine. Read your label to see if it contains it already.
Creatine helps gaining lean muscle, but that depends on your exercise routine.

Hi, thanx for the great vid!!! Ihave a question for you. I have been getting very painful muscle spasms after long hot days at work. So I went to my local supplement store and asked for their recommendation... they gave me Amino's... I am not sure but shouldn't they have suggested some kind of Electrolyte supplement? is there such a thing? do you have any other advice? I don't know how I will be able to handle such pain again, thank you.

hey, just a thought but....your muscles are probably dehydrated and are being deplenished of water... if not already try drinking a refreshment with sodium and with a small amount of simple carbohydrates.

Hi, Thank you for such concentrated info! I was wondering if you could help me. I recently had an extremely painful muscle spasm in my leg after a really hot and labour intensive day at work. So I went to my local supplement store and asked for their recommendation, they sold me some amino acid powder, but the spasm just relocated into my hand :( Is there some kind of electrolyte supplement I should be taking or what can I do?? thanks.

Great explanation on the supplements and whey proteins. We put more danger to our body by taking way too much amino acids when we don't need it. I lift weights a lot in the gym but I'm sooooo guilty of forgeting to drink a lot of water daily.
I must be killing my kidneys already. :-(
