  • What the video does not say is that the water has to be 32.5*F

  • this is real i did this in my physics class

  • @blacklion3600 how does it work

  • It's witchcraft like your shadow and mirrors.

  • I mean, hypothetically, the twist while you pull up could cause the water to stay in shape. But, you would have to twist it at an inhuman rate of speed for the centrifugal force to make it stay that way. But, then again, I forgot what it's called but some liquids have to displace because the molecules have are so small. I think, at least. So, hypothetically it could work, but I don't know...

  • @drummer894life science tells us as soon as we touch a glass containing water it becomes a crystalline structure giving it enough structure to hold

  • @skinnyPanda420 Okay, well if we do touch a glass and it does become a crystalline structure, then the water inside of that structure would have enough mass to burst through that structure. Also, if a crystalline structure was stable enough to hold water, it wouldn't be able to spin with the liquid, same thing as dissolving sugar into hot water. Put your 7th grade science book up friend...

  • it is perspectives

  • nao acredito que vc perdeu tempo pra fazer um video pra dizer o que ja era obvio (nao acredito que eu perdi tempo pra dizer que vc perdeu tempo, kkk)

  • BTW I think the original video is fake (just did not convince me) and I don't think NUEVOMETROPOLlS is stupid. I think that people want to believe (as I do) in the original video and also like to troll on nuevometropolis because: (1)they have fun (2) it makes them feel "superior" and (3) did not notice what this video shows and want to disprove it as to stay feeling #(2).

  • I liked this video. Fuck all the other people!

  • hahahaahhahhaahahahha ahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahah hahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahahha hahahahahahahaha ahaahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahaahahahah hahahahahahahahaha ahaahahahahahahaha ahahhahaahhahahaha ahahahaha hahahaahhahhaahahahha ahahahahahahaha ahahahahahahahahah hahahahahahahah ahahahahahahahahha hahahahahahahaha ahaahahahahahahahahah ahahahahahahaahahahah hahahahahahahahaha ahaahahahahahahaha ahahhahaahhahahaha ahahahaha hahahaahhahhaahahahha ahahahahahahaha hahahahaha haha Dumb..

  • No you have your theory all wrong, the water appears to have moved but thats just it the water moves because the water has no restrictions. the real question is how did the water stay their. NO i don't think he used anything i think your intolerant!

  • @3Canibus

1)IF the original video is not a fake, THEN the system of water molecules seen in the video does have restrictions. In fact, those restrictions are the fundamental reason for the visually-amazing and unusual effect. Those special restrictions are broken when the water molecules are "free" to move in the broader space, not only being the shape of the cup (the fundamental space restriction for the motion of the system of water molecules)....

  • @3Canibus

2)The person who post the original video intended to justify the effect with the condition of removing the cup with a sudden "twist", this being the source of the restriction. This so called "twist" would be a holonomic restriction in the hamiltonian representation of the motion of this system of water molecules.

  • @3Canibus

3)Whether it is true or false that the "twist" is sufficient to maintain the water in the cup's shape, is not my point. The point is that,in a case where this phenomenon truly occurs, then by necessity the system of water molecules will have special-restrictions.The restrictions are the answer to your question of "how did the water stay there?"

...but you really wanted to ask "What is/are the necessary restriction/s to make the effect? and "How would someone figure to implement it/them?"

  • Its called perspection

  • LMFAO

  • He said to be PATIENT and it takes a while to master this stuff.

  • @GravityTrash reaaalyyyyyyyy? :D It's odd because I see that you're aware of the fact thet gravity exists, still, you post this bullshit about PATIENCE. lol

  • @musicinmusic It's odd because you couldn't read my other comment saying that it MIGHT be fake.

  • @GravityTrash well I'm glad you aren't sure that that's real. But great work in 3D though...

  • I know things in the world are batshit unbelievable but since anything is possible this "fake" is real.

  • @GravityTrash You know what's especially possible? CGI.

  • If you ROTATE the camera keeping the center point fixated on the cup, the centerpoint will appear to move in the opposite direction. It's actually intuitive... I don't see how this didn't occur to you when you were making the video.

  • Maybe instead of just moving the camera side to side he's just turning it on a point

  • Comment removed

  • AAAAAAND in the part he touches the water, just look better: HE DIDN'T.

  • Well, the table moves too, so it excludes "depth".

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt water isn't free you idiot that's why you pay the WATER BILL or your parents probably do, cuz you can't have your own house if you think water is free unless you just don't pay the bill in which case I don't see how you have water at all

  • The guy that made this is a visual effects artist. You need some help, kid.

  • the reason part of the screen move up and part moves down is the concept of perspective, like how if you look at a highway, if you look down the highway, it gets smaller and smaller until it gets to the horizon where its so small you can't see it anymore, but if you walk down the highway, it never gets smaller. and to every one else: before you go and say its fake, actually try it, he said you would have a high chance of failure than success when you spin, never stop, when you lift, straight up

  • OH WELL FUCK,

    ITS FAKE

NEVER WOULD HAVE GUESSED THAT SHIT RIGHT THERE

  • its called a different camera angle duh saboob

  • Good job, you clearly caught the flaw in the added effects. You have a good eye to catch that.

Yeah, of course it is fake. But it is interesting that more people "dislike this video" of you pointing out the obvious fact that it is just a special effect.

  • @Yourfishman I am undecided as to weather or not that video is fake. It seams fantastic and unbelieveable, but at the same time, the scientific explinations i've heard about it do make sence. This wouldn't be the first thing that seams impossable but science and experimentation have prooved to be tre. However, my point is that the difference in motion is simple do to a combination of distance from the camera and the angles that the camera moved in.

  • you just said wast water you are fucking stupid its free dumbass

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt not for this video....people wast water trying this fake!

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt You've clearly never paid a water bill.

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt You must be a really dumb 5th grader because water isnt fucking free. Your either stealing it or your just to stupid to realize your parents pay for it.

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt WHere are you from? Water isn't free unless you get it from a stream, river, pond, lake or ocean.

OH! You must be living with your "fucking" parents! In that case it's still not free, just mooched off of your parents.

Earn respect before you start insulting people. You Mooch!

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt YOU STILL HAVE TO BUY IT (EVEN FROM THE SINK)!!!

  • @KennJ4ShoEnt you live with mommy huh? lol i wish my water was free

  • LOL !!! It is called parallax......

  • The face in the water looks like the forever alone guy

  • Comment removed

  • oohh, i didnt watch the whole thing when i commented, now i say its fake.

  • look up "refraction"......its all to do with light, and whether the object is convex or concave. those are 2 different cups, the one further bck is concave, the closer is convex.

  • Parralax brother. Google that shit.

  • hahahahhaha you are a total morown ... idiot hahahahahahhah it's depth you stupid!

  • @leonblackhack666 hahahahahahahah ¬¬ hahahahhaha :P hahahahaha :D

  • @leonblackhack666 You misspelled "Moron"

  • it has to do with relativity. youre dumb -.-

  • Its refraction, end of story

  • No...he really doesn't have a valid point. This video is, in fact, CGI, but, given the curve of the water, if this were real, everything refracted through it would be inverted. Left would become right, up would become down, within the curve of the water...I think. This guy really did a beautiful CGI effect here.

  • i for got in my last comment in 2 ways

  • am i the only 1 that caught that this vid is not mythbusters

  • It is the angle of the camera

  • they're not stupid.

Their native language isn't English, give them a break xD

Don't hate on them for their English, and some people are not the brightest so need further explanation and if you don't like it. click a different video and move on with life.

  • go learn english first cause im a little kid from holland and even i can speak good english

  • @TheDamnaccountnames congratulations little kid!! :D

  • @TheDamnaccountnames me too but in het engels schrijf je dutch not holland

  • @TEMPLARKILLER16 dutch is de taal Holland of The Netherlands is het land slimme

  • @TheDamnaccountnames hahha im from holland to and i pwn at english

  • @TheDamnaccountnames ik kom ook uit nederland en ja dus ehh tjaa ehh waarom deed ik dit ookalweer?????????!? ehmm oke goed hallo!

  • Captian fucking obvious here ladies and gentleman. Of course its fake, the fact that you had to waste your time to show every is sad... I need a suicide gun stat!

  • never heard of refraction?

    same effect as a lens

  • has visto alguna vez esas cartas "holograficas" u otro video donde la camara se mueva entorno aun punto fijo??

    si, es lo mismo !!!

  • it's called shifting perspective... if you stand facing a pole and close one eye, but stare at the pole while holding onto it and walk around it the backround (behind the pole) will move. But the pole will stay still. Moving clockwise around the pole will make the floor appear to be moving right while everything beyond the pole pans left. It's not magic or camera trickery, it's just what happens when you move the camera/your eyes around a stationary object.

  • stupidbuster

  • i wanted to say u're stupid, but no.. u're a great idiot lol

  • @pYthQn :) si crees q me molesta tu comentario? jaja para nada :)

  • @NUEVOMETROPOLlS ばか! あなたわ danken eshtebah!

yes now i don't hv any doubts about u, replying in other languages! so what should i suppose to say to ur reply?

  • @pYthQn be happy :) smile :D

  • @pYthQn

あなたわ uses ha (は), NOT wa (わ), even though it's pronounced ' wa ', この馬鹿...!!!

  • @dizzydekil am not jpnz but i know that, tnx for fix

  • dude put urslf in the god dam freezer n walaa...

  • Dude, put an object in front of your eyes, then look past the object, you will see excatly the same effect, lol, it's called moving the camera viewpoint.

  • dude you are stupid.

  • @TheOtherWhiteBread0 Actually, he has a valad point.

  • or left all my kitchen floor wet!!!!!!!!!

  • the camera is moveing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • PHYSICS!

  • stop moving the dam table woman! I'am trying to eat here...

  • its called perspective =]

  • you are big MALAKAS

  • @DrAkOYmeLgr hahaha oti na nai re, pantws fash exei to kolpo :)

  • Its an animation. The water is an animation.

  • @AN1MEL0VER5 of course the water is spinning, he twisted the cup in order to do this(see original video)

  • I came here for the T-Mobile Home for the Holidays ad.

  • Really fucking ass holes!! Yes I think that it's fake but I'm not the fucking prick that's making a gay-ass video just to prove a point! Honestly grow up! Don't be such ass holes about it! And P.S this fucking video has no proof, IT'S CALLED MOVING THE FUCKING CAMERA!!!!

  • @zilla2722 hey. cool it.

  • @zilla2722 hey does it really matter that much to you? i mean really. why should you care. anyone is allowed to post anything they want on YouTube and they don't need someone like you going around and criticizing what they do. move on and do something better with your life than criticize and bully people. seriously. get a life

  • its cuz its real water

  • Maybe because the guy was HOLDING the camera...

  • Well, you are right, it is fake. A common knowledge of physics would tell anyone that. In this video however you provide no proof. All you do is point out how a basic perspective/field of view works, which the original video also demonstrates in a good manner. What you point out as faults in the video, are actually just things working as things would be working.

  • If you want to earn some money with an iPod, iPhone, iPad or Smartphone,

around 5$ a day for about 2 min, then follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Go to the browser if you are on an iDevice: "m,appredeem.,com".

Replace the "," with dots (.)

If you are on android, search on "appredeem" on market.

    Step 2: Register your account

Step 3: Use the bonus code: "myipad" to get 100 bonus points.

Step 4: If it works please thumb up so that other people can see this

    too!

  • IMPOSSIBRU!!!!

  • He's not that good at after effects

  • Sum Ting Wong

  • Wanna know why this trick is fake... What happens when things spin? They move OUTWARD not inward. To do this trick you need to freeze distilled water so that there is a thin layer of ice around the water. When you lift and spin, the ice holds only a few seconds before the physical properties of the outward forces pushes the ice to its breaking point. The reason you use distilled water is because that's the only water (besides natural) that freezes clear.

  • You guys are all total assholes. Just because someone doesn't understand something doesn't mean that you need to call them retarded or tell them they need to kill themselves because they took the time to ask for an explanation. Grow up.

  • yea hes kinda stupid and an idiot but hey hes also probably like 9 and just butthurt because he cant make the trick work which DOES work by the way its an easy suspension caused by air bubbles pushing inward on the water keeping it inplace. also yea you should learn physics

  • ITS WATER WATER moves

  • STUPID

  • Because the cup is further then the water! Duh

  • maybe cause when he was moving round the table when he was filming?

  • You do realize that the guy that made this video is a professional animator and that this video is obviously fake even though its awesome?

  • The guy who made this is a special fx Person who used special fx.

Stop fucking asking questions about this!

  • He right you stupid retards? are you retarded and not know how to use your eye's?

  • Reminds me of porn...

  • Camera angle.

  • 1. no shit this is fake it defies physics completely. 2. theoretically if this was real, i would blame it on how the light refracts through the moving water

  • this is kinda retarded.

  • Oh dear sweet merciful god...

  • Well, the video is fake, just not for the reasons this guy thinks it is.

  • Um............?

  • Its called, Realflow

  • Please pick up a pistol and shoot yourself!!!

  • its called he picks up the camera

  • @tellis2012

    I am dying.

  • .. This video made no type of sense.. C'mon now.. If you gone try to correct something, could you make it make SENSE, and use PROPER ENGLISH?!!

    Thanks.

    -End.

  • Seriously. Why bother to make such videos. It's obvious it is fake. -_-

  • HEY DUDE, TAKE A VIDEO CAMERA AND FILM A CUP ON A TABLE! WHAT DO YOU SEE? yep, same "fake" stuff...

  • Dude, it's CGI. He does CGI, it's *fake* of course it is, but you don't need to do all this to prove it. Jesus Christ.

  • its ice they put the cup of water in the frezzer and they were wating a little and then they turned it over so ya it brock because the heater was up high.

  • @loveus2girls Actually it's just computer tricks.. the guy who made the original video work in hollywood on CGI stuff.

  • wow! you're a god damn genius.......

  • get a life!!!

  • wew

  • called parallax-look into retina structure (cones and rods)/oculus/optics as well as calculations of astronomical distances (visual though also radio-telemetry methods) think of camera lens and lens of eyes research helps no foolin';}

  • called paralax-look into ocular cones and retas strucrure as well as calcultions of astronomical distances (visual though also radio-telemetry methods) think of camera lens and lens of eyesresearch helps no foolin';}

  • SCHOOLED!

  • DONT TAKE THEIR CRAP AN HONEST QUESTION DESERVING AN HONEST ANSWER

  • You're so stupid.......

  • @FilledCircle LOL :-)

  • don't you think you should learn some Physics? : D water refract the light, you know : D man, you just wasted your time making this video. it was really the best thing for you to go to sleep : D I meant no harm, but really... : D this is common knowledge : D

  • @Momo12012 lol :) i like comments like this :) is ok for me :)

  • @Momo12012 You wasted your time making that comment, the video was fake, this guy makes scientific errors, move on.

  • Or maybe he learn it somewhere and want to show us but he can't do that. But he think if we don't see that we won't believe him and he make a little fake video to show it us...

  • he revealed why the video is fake, that's the true answer but he's english is so terrible to explain it properly lol

  • i cant belive this guys is so stupid, learn phisics idiot. Air and water have different density

  • Fake and Gay

  • This guy has obviously never looked outside of a car window driving down the highway. You ever notice how the trees nearer to you seem to go right, but the trees farther than you seem to go left? Well if you've experienced this, then you'll understand what I mean.

  • @Bohacification yes you are right, I know what you mean.

  • Mr. obviousness

  • If you look up the definition for ass hole in the dictionary this dudes face comes up as the description

  • its called the angle of refraction.. or in lemans terms the way light moves through water.

  • why are are these ignorant asshole telling Nuevometropolis to go learn proper english, if you have not noticed youtube is worldwide and if you use a eensy weensy lil thing called CONTEXT CLUES ya know the thing you learn about in 3rd grade (if half of you made it that far in school) then it is rather easy to put together what they mean. So if you do not like the vid then do not watch it simple as that.

  • dude... he's holding a camera, i mean wow how perceptive are you?... NOT!

  • I knew you was Spanish, because you sound like my Spanish friend, and they so funny like you =)

  • lmao... haha you want to go to sleep.. =)

    you are funny

  • thanks man 4 clear this fukn shit trik

  • Shut up, learn proper english!

  • @pazarcikli79 xD jajajajaja

  • Comment removed

  • we you see, this nifty invention of water has no definite shape, so it moves about rather than staying stationary.

  • i agree!!
