  • How to make the gloves?!

  • is the one talking the guys mom and a little boy in the costume

  • how can he see trough the eyes!?!?

  • @Ilovethemunksnettes Poorly! You can see enough to walk, but not to drive. Generally nay one out in public in a full head mask should have a "handler" or helper nearby to make sure they don't wander into traffic and stuff.

  • Cool you gave me a idea for a upcoming werewolf video I'm going to do

  • hahahah! :P

  • schaut eher wie ein Mon chichi auf Droge XDDDD

  • damn ur creative! saw the how to make i vid...ho much did it cost you?

  • @wolfheart133333 About 30 at the time. The gloves we got for 10 at a costumer store.

  • Reminds me a lil of Terror Toons 2's evil Hansel.

  • howd you make the jaw move?

  • ..wooh great and cool ..please try also to see my halloween costume to have more ideas! thank you!

  • this mask is really good but it needs to look meaner

  • Awwwwwwww look its baby bear the the show for homosexuals, fags and gay people. It looks like a piece of dinner to me. I want chiken.

  • @coolduder10 Yes! because statistically 1/10 of people who make costumes are gay! But, you should try to curb your sexual desires for chickens.

  • Not too bad at all =)!

  • looks like a bear lol :D

  • YAYAYAYAYAY!

Cartoonish but in a very awesome, halloweeny way.

  • You need to show us how to make the werewolf gloves next! :D

  • @MarowakDidIt They bought them. I saw those gloves at amazon for sale. So, the gloves are not homemade.

  • im in the process of making my own cant wait to wear it for halloween

  • me, id personally make the ears more pointy and dog-like, not human-like but, thats me xD

Pretty good tho, im gonna do this for halloween xD

  • Awesome mask........Start marketing your own mask line. Buy a domain name, web site............You could make this a major money maker!!!!!! Youve got talent. Shawn

  • Looks to much like a cartoon, but pretty good none the less...

  • ewoks halloween adventure! nicely done, I like how the jaw moves.

  • You look more like our Yorkie.

  • i thought the scream was from her, like in *scream* THAT WAS FUNNY!!! XD But ok, it was a bird lol....5/5!! :D

  • wow thats pretty cool

  • OMg i freaking shitted my pants when he started laughing, because i had HIGH volume!

  • hey, how do ou paint fur? what kind of paint do you use? i have this golden fur (cause the character has more gold on 'im) but he also has brown and a creamy white color. the fur is really short and i don't know how to paint it and i don't really want to waste it by experementing too b=much.any tips?

  • She used acrylic.

  • thanks!

  • Yeah, we've got three but they're apartment friendly, they only yell if there's a big problem. Like, say, a plastic bag blowing into the yard at 2 am.

  • Parrot! They're almost always in the room during filming.

  • @gryphern What was that shrieak for at the end?

  • Okay, I just need to know what the teeth are made of and I'll be fine. I think it's so awesome that it's possible to make such a decent mask for under $30. Thank you SO much for posting this. It's really helpful and gives people something easy yet productive to do in their free time.

  • hahaha the way he laughed and the noise you made at the end were hilarious

  • i love the mask

  • that laugh was immense!!!!

  • thats a beaver

  • its not creepy, its funny!

  • Good observation! The purpose of these vidoes is not to create "A SO COOL MASK" it's to let you know it's easy to create complex forms for costuming. This is a clip from the "how to make the mask" video. I posted the short so people could use a short a clip to sum up the process. Tho I kinda wish I could reupload the video, Youtube's raised the MB limit for uploads since then!

  • I agree with most of the past comments. Its more "cute" if anything. I guess its the rather large nose that gives that impression. But either way its still cool.

  • hoe to you make the hands????

  • cuddlyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • That's kinda creepy!

  • Looked like a bear to me me at first.. but that's really cool haha.

  • Yeah I tend to go for "cute" over "horrific," it you want a terrifying werewolf you'd have to make it less well, fuzzy!! The use of thick pile short fur (called fake mink, or luxury fur or stuff like that) allows for the use of detail shaving to make textures like wrinkles and veins popping out.

  • I was impressed by the stilt system I found posted on IndyMogul's website, but wow, this is quite an awesome mask as well! They had a werewolf mask tutorial as well, though I'm not sure which I prefer. Perhaps a mixture of the both.

  • Indy Mogul's mask was more makeup based. I like the "put it on and go" ability with this mask.

  • O.O wow...this is so freekin awesome!!!

  • Thanks, I've done a lot of costuming projects, and this is the first one I've posted on the internet (usually the costumes are for professional groups, so I don't get a chance to really document them.) The response, between Make Magazine giving us mention, and the folks from around the world who have sent me photos of their finished versions of the stilts and mask... well, it's been wonderful!

  • very well done, i would so love something like that, but yeah, no skill to do that at ALL (hey, at least i admit it, lol)

  • Like I said to the poster below, skill isn't the issue. Skill is just having practiced and activity until you can do it smoothly. There's no reason you can't figure it out step by the the first time and come up with a strong product, give it a try! If you look at my the videos you'll see a reply from a cool little dude who built his for Halloween and it came out great, the same with other e-mails I've received from folks who never tried to be creative in this way before.

  • Wow.. I wish I was that skilled. :]

  • You are! It's not hard, just gluing and cutting and stuff, each step on its own is simple enough that even if you're not "artsy-fartsy" you can do it. The finished project is nothing more than about 100 easy step you can plan out with some thought. Check out the how-to video and look at the posted blueprint.

  • i have seen some amazing home made costumes before but wow this one wins BIGTIME BABY!!! you should make more of these and sell them on eBay

  • I do take commissions!

  • This is using a really basic methodology that anybody can try, that's the purpose of these how-to series... get people who are intimidated by expensive products and professional techniques to come out with fantastic results on par with the professional ones.

  • ROFLOL! Looks more like a shrew.

  • How so? As shrews have tiny ears, tiny long noses, very elongated snouts, eyes on the sides of their head and small feet I'm not sure what makes it similar. I would be interested in your input for the next design, since this was something we put together fairly quickly.

  • No. I'm just jealous I can't make something like that to wear for halloween. That kind of too scary for the kids though.

  • ...I'm pretty evil like that, I get a huge kick out of children staring and staying away in fear on Halloween. So while you have the sin of jealousy...I seem to have the sin of wrath!

  • cool.....yet strange lol

  • lol love the scratching.

  • TEEHEEE!!!!

  • You're a genius Gryphern!

  • Haha, that's awesome, great job you to both of you.

  • Thanks we posted the finished costume, and this point all the how-tos on the costume are posted.

  • How did you make the eyes?

P.S.: Would suggest that the handler apply a generous application of flea powder prior to any

    public appearances.

  • There's a how-to video we did that explains where the eyes came from if you look at "more videos form this user." We used Sunsets brand tanning bed eye protection and popped them into the eyeholes of the mask.
