You know when you get home from a long day of work and you haven't even taken your coat off yet and your woman starts yappin' at you non-stop? This chick reminds me of that.
@Kaszi46 Of course. Just go around in a full circle on the color disc on the remote and then hit the "on" button above it. To go back to normal repeat the same thing but then just hit "off" instead. You can also change the speed at which the change happens by tapping on the ring. Blue is very fast and purple is very slow, and the rest are speeds in between.
oh mate u so right. almost everything i got from phillips sucks. especially my headphones... the only thing which is OK is my tv. but i think phillips makin so much crap
Remote control just stopped working after not even 1 year in use. I tried it all. Change batteries (damn hard to open remote c), shut down wifi, nothing. Pretty bad as apparently often a quality problem.
I can't change the battery. I slide the switch on the back of the remote and the remote does not pop apart, no matter how hard I press and it doesn't slide apart either. Very frustrating.
I've had absolutely no problem with mine... I've had it for a year now and I've got both wireless tv/streamium and wifi internet... So I don't think that should be a problem..
I've been looking around for this lamp, and I've come across several different names..
Living Colors
Living Colors Crystal
Living Colors Crystal Clear
They are all three the same, correct? Because on Philips site there's only Living Colors, Living Colors black and mini. The price varies quite a lot, so I'm not sure if they have like, made new ones that are weaker, thus cheaper..?
You've got the normal transparent one with the remote... and the black is the same, but that one is not transparent, but guess what... It's black glass xD
And the mini range are, the smaller versions (not in glass but in some kind of plastic), these are without remote control, the color pas is on the lamp itself)
I would recommend you the normal ones, because I really think the remote control is very sweet + they look better :)
I know what LED's are ^^ lol....well it could be that the ones the the livings colors are bad quality or something....nvm..i bought one..the the effect is way not so goood....so i retrieved it lol and bought some games =)
yes you can link them to one remote control and get them to display the same color, unfortunately if you want to have one color per lamp you still have to use multiples RC.
ooooooooo it changes colour with a remote, FUKIING AMAZING, I've seen colour like that before . OMG this isnt gonna get boring at all. Oh and dont forget it shouldnt waste too much electricity as well. The perfect xmas present!!!
About 1 meters max (for the best effect that is). Make no mistake about it, if you toggle the intensity to full and your room has `dimmed lights` it will make the neighbors go `Hmmm` :)
Hello I have bought one of these lamps on ebay. as soon as connected to the current electrical worker it executes self the test, but then I do not succeed to ignite it from the remote control. it must make some operation particular in order to connect the remote control to the lamp? Some hidden key? Aid I hope is not out of order
the complete spectrum of the lamp is best seen if you illuminate a white wall with it instead of hanging it from the ceiling, which this lamp isnt made for.
pleaseeee!!does anybody know how i can make it change colours by itself(demo mode)??i achieved this once accidentaly but i don't know how i did it!! :S thanks 4 the help! :D
Who, in the name of SANITY, do you think you are talking to? I mean, do you actually think that the girl in the video is the one who posted it on Youtube? Are you actually that fucking stupid?!?! CHRIST, YOU NEED TO BE SKULLFUCKED WITH EXTREME PREJUDICE!
I have this lamp for some time now and must say it has surprised me! It's not just a toy lamp you can compare to coloured bulbs. The experience is of a entirely other kind. This lamp i can exactly finetune to my mood or use it to get me in a certain mood. It acts like a sort of an instant controlable psych tool. It has done remarkable wonders for some of my depressive moods! Only setback is it's prize, 150 euros. If they do get cheaper i'll buy a second one for sure.
With all the examples i have seen of this light they have it set so that the colour keeps changing every few minutes. Can you also set it up so that it is just one constant colour all the time?
sadly, that is the only realy good working function ^^.
The colorchange-mode is very fast. Its like the full spectrum in 10 seconds. You can not ajust the speed. But if you pick a color it stays exactly that one.
All the changing you see is done manualy with the remote. Was a little disapointed :\
I bought the lamp this weekend. It's really great and especially nice if you have light or white walls and want to change the colour of the walls to suit your mood, or for example give it a festive colour for a party!!

Better wait for samsung to produce something similar, they provide quality, every time.
