IF U THINK HE IS SCARED U R A DICK.. COZ HE IS THE ONLY GUY WHO HAD DRIVEN IN 172 CORNERS BANNED nordschleife CIRCUIT AFTER LAUDAS ACCIDENT IN 1976 IN AN F1 CAR......
I stand corrected...obviously not ALL drivers have the clause in their contracts - Renault were stupid and are probably kicking themselves since.
The unfortunate incident with Robert only highlights the great risk of participating in dangerous activities which can effect their main jobs.
Its for reasons like this, why many teams have the strict clauses written up for their drivers. After seeing what happened with Robert...it all starts to make good sense why.
Anyone complaining that nick is not riding fast enough is because hes not allowed to. All F1 drivers have a clause to prevent them from taking any unecessary risks in other activities which may cause injury to themselves which could prevent them in carrying out their main job (in heidfelds case its being an F1 driver) Its too dangerous & its a standard clause in all driver contracts.
@SupaSix1 Bullshit! If his team didn't want him to take unnecessary risks they wouldn't have allowed him to take part in the first place! Was Robert Kubica driving 'slowly' when he had his rally accident? I think not noob....
I know what you are saying but...I think renault felt it a coup to have a driver like robert in their team and I think they just wanted to keep him happy so allowed him to do what he wanted. But renault were'nt being very smart and now that decision has come back to haunt them...Im sure kubica has his regrets too now that he'll be watching the season from his bed (goodluck to him).
@MultiJimmyHenry rally is usually more sure than drive a motorbike... and during the winter season, since F1 tests are just reduced to a couple of events, rally is considered a good training for the pilot...
What are you talking about? He wasn't even pushing the bike, nice smooth lines but way behind the pace of a fast track day rider. He was just going for a spin - nothing more.
hahahah obviously out of his element! the end when his eyes keep looking down is so funny,i dont even look at my gauges on the track

I like the way my riding skills aren't even close to his and he's doing this as an "aside."

Pavement is magic. Potholes require better magic.

I know there is a physics behind it, but when he tilts, how the fuck doesn't he fall off, it looks like he should.
Magic I say, burn the witch.

First, Nick should practice his "hanging off" position on a bike, then he can ride faster :-)

@SupaSix1 Who cares about the clause. He is doing great considering he doesnt actually race in WSBK!!! Stfu anybody who says hes slow

@SupaSix1
And even "not fast" is relative: I don't think i'd put it that flat through corners, on the road nor on a circuit.

@SupaSix1 he's also not even a professional motorcycle racer..

@SupaSix1 Right. But as well must consider that he is not a GP pilot. His talent is car racing. Look at the example of Schumacher.

Of course he is not trying to beat a lap record. He's only testing the bike and getting fun. He goes fast anyway.

F1. He is riding the super bike great. I think he needs to quit F1 and jump on BMW super bike in SBK. Fantastic Nick.
