He over compensated on steering correction the car sensed the car lost grip and the car corrected by trying to send power to the wheel that needed it the car went the wrong direction due to the drivers steering ....but whatever shit happens, live and learn
it could had been worst that biker was close in 0:17 the wrx driver was opening him self and the car to much he saw the bike on his left side and turned to the side and his mistake was breaking at 0:16

seems like biker was really close to the line or on the line. This caused the driver of the subaru to start breaking near the exit of the turn. Weight shifted forward causing rear tires to lose traction. Driver treated the traction loss like you would in a RWD car which caused this result. Driver might have been able to correct if he was a bit more used to AWD.
@eEeaAarRrRLLLLL I had this happen on a Impreza I had for 3 days. There was a slower driver in front of me and some dirt on the road. Because I breaked in the turn (normally I never use the break in a turn but there was a slower guy in front) it caused the rear to go out. I also instinctively counter-steered (was not use to AWD) and totally lost it as well (totaled). I wasn't even going that fast. I like RWD cars simply because I know how to control them better when they start loosing traction.
futhermore the wrx is very hard to get to oversteer you would have to use scandanavian flick technique on a stockish subaru like that. Which is a little more on the advanced side of drifitng techniques. Just don't even try go drag race man. you have small chance of killing yourself and others.

I know what WRX's can be like getting sideways in the dry, they tend to be very hard to correct (depending on how sideways they are) the grip level is very good untill they let go, then when your not expecting the grip to come back, it does and it's very easy to overcorrect. Maybe all you super hero's should post up some vid of your awesome 4wd drift skills
@chrisbewrx I agree with what you said about the youtube drivers, but what? Wrx's and Sti's are not hard to correct. They are beyond forgiving. I have an 08 sti that I have put in some very tough situations and it comes out with no problems. A decent driver looks amazing in one.

@chrisbewrx You speak the truth about what people say. One thing everyone needs to understand about awd subarus, especially STi's, is that if they do let go you are going REALLY fast. This in itself makes the car much harder to save, but I would say the actual dynamics of the car are really predictable and easy to save.

Don't brake during the corner... he shifted the weight wrongly by doing so then over corrected the slide as it gained grip. He also crashed a car that i perceive to be one a lot easier to drive than most with 4WD and all the electronic help. Could you imagine if he got into a RWD car with no electronics. We all make mistakes but don't you think he should be learning with easier things to start. Examples like lower speeds, closed roads or car control(wet and dry).
It's unfortunate this idiot didn't die in the crash. This is a good example of the type of douchebags that drive these cars. They've played some Gran Turismo, so now they think they know how to drive. Sad, but true.

Don't brake during the corner... he shifted the weight wrongly by doing so then over corrected the slide as it gained grip. He also crashed a car that i perceive to be one a lot easier to drive than most with 4WD and all the electronic help. Could you imagine if he got into a RWD car with no electronics. We all make mistakes but don't you think he should be learning with easier things to start. Examples like lower speeds, closed roads or car control(wet and dry).
