We had to use these things at a car wash, I hated it. At first, it would be fine drying things off, but it was really hard to wring out most of the liquid and then finally would actually leave water on cars, so we switched to regular rags/shammies.

a thing i noticed in the real commercial, he pours the drink on the carpet, its going passed to the square of carpet..when he puts the carpet back on the cola its not.

I used to use a Speedo Shammy when I was on the swim team. It was amazing. I used it as a regular towel. I was curious how it compares to the ShamWow. I get a good idea from this video. They seem pretty similar. The Speedo shammy is about $19 and you only get one that is smaller than the large Shamwows. They are also great for drying your car. Incredibly useful and long lasting. No matter what your use for it is, it is an awesome product.
