Barba came back in OOT with a different name and guess what? He is still freaking hard though the whole idea of how you defeat him is fun. Ever play a classic arcade game where targets pop out of holes and you smash them with a hammer? That is basically how he is fought in OOT.
@TurquoiseStar17. Its a translation error. Is real name in the original japanese game was volvagia. It make sense, since both of them are very similare.
@jowerewolf Barba actually is Volvagia, his Japanese name is spelt as *バルバジア* Barubajia and it can be translated into either Bulbagiah, Barbagiah, Varvagia and/or Volvagia.

you can also just stab him by standing next to him, but you have to jump by his head. just another way to kill Barba

I remember I use to transform into the fairy to get past some of those doors. Didn't work on everything though
