@XSERSIZE Hey, that depends mainly only your level of experience. As you progressively get better at the practice, you will burn more calories. The nice thing about yoga is that is teaches you to love and respect your body, making weight loss easier and more natural. Initially, use yoga a complementary exercise in your weight loss. After some time you may decide to completely switch over.
The poses in this video were good - I just found it really hard to find the "flow" of this flow video - LOTS of explanation of how to get into some very basic poses (warrior 2, plank) often left me hanging in an awkward muscle-tensing position, waiting for the descriptors to be over. "Lift the thigh, rotate the shoulder, turn the toes out, move .... coming into downward dog." Intermediate students might already know how to get into a pose, and the descriptors could be nice once already in it.
@emilywarawa Yes, Vinyasa yoga will help you burn fat because of the continual movement with breath. Also, by strengthening your muscles and building muscle, you will burn more calories even at rest.
@baroodio Flexible people sometimes have hyperextended elbows! Some suggest a light crease in elbows to protect the elbow joints from this bone on bone pressure.
