If Oregon played Miami, Joey Harrington would've seen the same kinda pass rush he saw when he played for Detroit. That game would've been a blowout. i have watched football since the 80's, in fact. and since ohio state beat miami in the fiesta bowl, they have been a middle-of-the-road ACC team for about the past 7 or 8 years. yes, the 2001 team was very dominant, but guess what? that team played a decade ago. you cant seem to accept the fact that miami now is not miami of 10 or 20 years ago. they arent even close. and just a side note: learning my FACTS does not include '01 miami being the greatest team ever. thats an opinion. but good try.

Just about all the defense went in the first round that year! Nebraska had NO Business in that bowl game!! They had no passing attack, they could not stop the pass or run. Actually Dipshit, Miami has been ranked in the Top 20 for the past 6 weeks. While Nebraska just lost to Unranked Texas Tech, Unranked Iowa State AT HOME, and just squeaked by the National Powerhouse known as Baylor.

This game still pisses me off to this day. Oregon was a much better team than Nebraska and had a stellar defense. Plus they actually won their conference. fuck the huskers. Oregon needs to play them in non-conference just to get revenge for stealing our National Championship berth.

The same thing was said about the 05 Trojans, the 08 Gators, and a certain team in 2003. I don't know if Oregon could have beaten Miami that year, and neither do you. Because they didn't play each other. I do know that the team that beat Nebraska (and slaughtered them) before Miami did was Colorado and we beat the shit out of them in the Fiesta Bowl. Thats why the BCS is bullshit because there is no true champion. Oregon was ranked 2 before the championship game and they gave it to Nebraska
