I do not keep statistics on Nobel Prize winners’ religious affiliation but I know that Dr Ahmed Zeweal, who is a Muslim, was Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry in 1999.

2 things seem obvious:

1) The notion of Science and Technology is quite highly respected by many Muslims, they can't deny that.

2) Fundamentalists are idiots and an endless source of idiotic claims - whether they be Muslims, Christians or whatever

To be fair, I am sure quite a few Muslim scientists have made *some* contributions to modern science, however based on this documentary, there is no shortage of quack scientists who try to marry Islam and Science in a very dishonest disingenous way.
