  • @ChicanoDeCalifornia Yheaa it is. I have the FULL version of the song which is 6:41.

  • The name "freestyle" comes from the way the Latin kids used to dance to this music

  • HELL YA!! One of the true queens of freestyle......love it!!!!!!!!

  • this bitch looks good for her age wow im impress

  • Regardless if it was called Club or freestyle, who give a shyt, just enjoy the music...

  • in the mid 80's it was called latin hip hop, lets do our freestyle history!

  • The last time I Cynthia perform Live was back in 2002 at the Sound Factory in San Francisco, Ca. and she looked yummy.

  • Is that really Cynthia?

  • She looks good. how old is cinthya anyway?

  • this music was freestyle before club music. the lp's were already hitting the LA club scene and being labeled freestyle. IT was about the same time that NYC got the stuff. LA playing all this stuff helped get the artist get out there with a name along with NYC and Miami. Either way have to disagree about the comment on singers from South America being tacky. You should realize all the great artists that have come out of there> as far as singers not to mention bands with great singers.

  • About the same time NY got the stuff? All the artists were from NY and MIA so how can this be?And in NYC it was called club before freestyle!People from LA kill me with their fantasy land theories!

  • when this stuff came out it was called latin hip hop!

  • Not in NYC!

  • produced and co-wrote the song "Please Don't Go" became an instant club classic and served as a bridge between the Shannonesque records that were flooding the market and the sound that developed the following year - Latin Hip-Hop. The single that many consider the first true Latin Hip-Hop record was Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam's "I Wonder If I Take You Home."

  • In the Chi we called it heart throb,or freestyle

  • They did better in Miami Yes the stars were from NYC, excluding StevieB who was from Ft. lauderdale, but they did more shows in Miami than NYC because at that time House music and techno were coming out and people were at the Tunnel, but if you went to Palladium they may have had these artist there. FYI most of them are Puerto Rican or Dominican, of course, hispanics from the Carribean are always more versitle and diverse, than tacky singers from South America.

  • You are absolutely right it was called club music before freestyle! And was started in NYC not Miami as many people seem to believe!

  • u2r right i always called it club. i dont even remember when i actually started callin it freestyle from n.y. 2 d world lol

    4everfreestyle

  • I love this song it brings back so many memories of chillin and hanging out with my friends and old loves lost in the past

  • i loved this song and endless nights 20 years ago but it sounds terrible live i guess thats why freestyle died

  • she is coming to chicago May 29, 2009 I cannot wait she is one of the best artist in freestyle history.

  • I´m a brazilian and can to say that this song it was the biggest sound of my time. One curious, us called the freestyle by Miami, as was better to knowed at Brazil. I love Cinthia since i was 15 years old.

  • Comment removed

  • it's out there the influence at least, the thing people don't realize it's freestyle.

"1, 2 Step" by ciara is freestyle

  • Freestyle Is Not Dead

  • look i love freestyle music!!! but its DEAD. all those freestyle singers fromt he 80's were too fucking CHEESY. i cant imagine greestyle ever coming back that sound was too 80's to ever make a comback. n one under 30 listens to freestyle. most of yout hat do are old and have kids.

  • I go to any freestyle concert I can and I'm 18.....

  • ok but how many young new singers sing freestyle??? in order for freestle to stay a liv eu need good talents on the caliber of chris brown, katdeluna, rihanna, u cant just sing for a group of people any more. you wont make it in the music bussiness. if i would go to a freestyle concert now i would die of the boredom. i rather look at old videos and boom it on my radio than go see a half ass concert from s0omeone that cant move as good as they did back in 1988!

  • so what if it doesnt make a comeback, and so what if most of the people that listen to it have kids and are over 30? its bstill better that all this garbage thats outthere today. mmm like;; little wayne, tpain and others. u cant compare moron!!

  • damn dont kill me. like i said i love freestyle. if freestle had all the spanish tv networks we have today it would stll be mainstream. but every wants to be a gangster now a days. people dont even dance at parties no more they grind

  • sorry you missed out on the best of days, today u kids got crap sooo boring what do u do these days i feel bad me growing up was so much to do. now there is nothing

  • where did the original studio version go..were available on youtube last fall??

    sametime safire´s songs is gone..youtube is dyi´n....

  • I feel like it's 1989 and I'm in the 10th grade all over again. Such innocent simple and happy times. Now days are more adventurous, not so simple but still full of joy....LOL

  • lol jajajajaja que culo..jajaja wtf lol hell naw that was to funny jaja +1

  • Well she s no judy torres or nayobe thats for sure i love freestyle music but i always felt cynthia had very little talent but i will give her an e for effort.

  • She can't sing for crap, she never could. I love this type of music and it definetly brings back 80's memories of summertime. I always called it "Club" music which I guess is the same as "Freestyle"?

  • @MrsPacino1 are u kiddin? how can u say she cant sing? she has a better voice than judy torres even though i admit that judy is the queen of freestyle and had better songs, but cynthia had a much sharper clearer voice so pleasant to hear where as judy torres voice hurts my eardrums. lol

  • GOOD PERFORMANCE !

  • hearing this song makes me wanna sing dance cry laugh and be happy all over again

  • freestyle till i die!!!

  • I love this Jam!

  • i love this song it came out b4 i was even born! where was this?

i see u wrote freestyle till i die, can u tell me somebody more, who is making this kind a music so i can listen to it???

i mean this rythm and all, like cynhia !

    cynthia rules !!!

  • ireally miss this kind of music

  • damn girl, im your biggest fan, i love freestyle music that's all i listen to, i have all your songs!! freestyle till i die

  • long live freestyle music forever!!!

  • Wow, this great footage. I've seen her live once back in 1991 and she's terrific along with Corina and so many others! Cynthia, your song is so iconic and closely identified with freestyle-I just call it all dance music as I hate classifications and breakdowns of dance. Great and we also have to credit Mickey Garcia and Elvin Molina as they created many other classics-this song along with Cynthia.

  • love freestyle till i die!!

  • she is still so beautiful. you go girl, freestyle forever.

  • Dayummmm! She be lookin' very heavy.

  • i saw her at a freestyle show in ct, i was not too happy i was expecting much better but george lamond, Johnny O, Cover girls and corina did real good.

  • her last name is NOT torres, your thinking of Judy Torres. lol but Cynthia, baby do your thing baby. Dont let the people think your washed up, this and endless nights do it to me everytime!

  • Cynthia's real name is Cindy Torres I'm not thinking of Judy Torres, I do mean Cynthia.

    artist name ~ birth name

    Cynthia ~ Cindy Torres

    George LaMond ~ George Garcia

    SaFire ~ Wilma Cosme

  • Man She sounds just as good as on the FreeStyle CD's I don't think she aged at all!

  • cynthia torres looks damngood but she could've

    did better on her volcals!

  • She looks damngood but her volcals could've been better!
