This is the hardest fight at the beginning but eventually you realize it's the easiest.

Actually, the falcon didn't revive Ryu because he wasn't really kill by Doku but just wounded from the slash since it didn't cut deep into Ryu. Which later on, he did woke up with revenge against Doku.

@monkey670 actually Genshin was more of a challegne than Doku. He was quicker and faster and impossible to nearly enegage him in Close quarters, where Doku was easier to reach in and fight close quarter

if the Kitestu didnt drain your life while you wield it, it is just as good as the dragon blade. I mean it can suck the very lifeforce out of you.

There is a way to wield Kitetsu without it draining your life. First acquire and equip this armlet that restores health then equip kitetsu. This armlet negates Kitetsu's life drain and they cancel each other out. Now you can knock yourself out with Kitetsu as much as you like.

Note: If I remember correctly because of the negation the armlet's life healing may not work as long as you equip Kitetsu.

no, the logical explanation of Ryu's survival was partly due his physical stamina and endurance from training and luck. That strike from Doku must had missed his vital and not fatal especially to a super ninja like Ryu and luck plzyed a role. The falcon's visit was just coincidence and no miracle occured. If an ordinary human was to be struck like Ryu, of course he'd be dead.

That's a wonderful explanation based on rational thought but let's not forget this is Ninja Gaiden with dinosaurs, dragons and women with oversized breasts we're talking about. I think Ryu did die, (the blood loss was profuse itself). The Falcon's appearance was probably the miracle, like a Talisman of rebirth.

There is no logical explanation to a video game.

I looked at it more than once and I still dont see anyone. I assume the original and black have the same scene with no editions. Pinpoint exactly where in the scene you see a person walking to him. and are you certain the person is his father?

Ryu was to be dead and he was dying... he waa untill he got kill by DOKU... you can hear and see some one comming to him , by eyes of the of the falcon.

And in Sigma you can fight him at that moment of the story. If he hits you once you die, but if you win, you unlock mission mode(and just wrecked the plot, since the D.D.B wasnt taken.

I think that IF he grabs you then the mission ends in defeat, not if he hits you once.
