  • NUTS!!!

  • What did you use for the snow? And is it glued down?

  • Very nice. I bought some of FOV's winter vehicles as well. It seems that you used some of dragons can do 1/35 prepainted figures as well. Very nice.

  • its all right

  • a grand and realistic doirama. nice...

  • how many of those tanks do you have

  • @MrZackattack2003 Actually I have 120 at last count.

  • how do you weather?

  • @scoodlers I use just about anything I can get my hands on: natural materiels (rust - ground and filtered, dirt - dried and filtered, etc) and synthetics (MIG weathering products, woodland scenics, etc). Like I said, just about anything I get my hands on! Beetstreet

  • Nice work, just need to take more care with the story...

  • These dioramas are excellant, collected the w britains for years, bought a forces of valor u.s. amphibian of ebay with a job lot of britains never took much notice of it but now looking at these i have had a better look and its very good going to buy a nice big set now thank you.

  • Very Nice! i am currently making one for the Normandy Invasion

  • I keep coming back to this video time and time again the detail is amazing!! excellent job!!!!

  • Im talking about the breast eagle, the officer hat insignias, the helmet decals sometimes given for free in the tamiya kits, and about the shadows and stuff, take a look at the zvezda preview pics of some of their models, like the german halftrack crew or the masterbox preview of the figures at the back of the box,the samples of the soldiers have many lighting and shadow effects

  • you didnt paint the insignias pal, also try to add shadows or something,it seems odd with the skin and clothes in a single color

  • @luftwaffe91 dude....not everyone has wat it takes to make this a profession. as long as u enjoy wat u do it dosnt matter wat other people think so next time u want to offer advice make it sound a little nicer. u ever hear of constuctive critisism

  • WOW thats realy good 10000000000000000/100000000000000000000

  • good diorama, very detailed..

  • what song are those

  • The song is Carmina Burana. I have used it in other diorama movies. I am waiting for Sony Music to restrict access to this video in certain countries, as they have done before. Beetstreet

  • Did you have to do a whitewash for the germans vehicles?Because I think those tanks are from forces of valor.

  • Yes all four are Forces Of Valor. The StuG III and Panzer IV came with the white wash finish. The Tiger II and Kubelwagon I whitewashed and I added "snow" to all four. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • Thanks for your reply!! Keep up the good work!!

  • Try to put tire and tred tracks in the snow and dirt, it makes it look much better!

  • @LifeInTechnicolor11 if you refer to scenes such as 1:43, 2:00 and 2:29, as well as others, you will see the tire and tank tracks. Although the tank tracks will always remove tire tracks due to weight ratio. Hope that helps if your review the video. Beetstreet

  • 2:03 It's a Forces of Valor, I hve it

  • i got a question i love to see dioramas and , i would like to try to do one, so here goes the question: do we glue the tanks to the ground? , or the units?

  • I do not attached the tanks or vehicles to the ground. You never know if you might change your mind. An example of this is this diorama, which I originally designed for the lead tank to be a Tiger I but changed my mind to include the Tiger II. As for the soldiers, I drill small holes in the bottom of one of their boots and attach (using glue) a finishing nail to hold them in place but still allowing me to change my mind. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • awesome! you are really talented :D

  • amazing model!!

  • nice snow!!!!!!!!!what did you use???

  • The snow is made three ways:

    1. For the thin coating: Baking Powder attached by spray adhesive.

    2. For the medium thickness: multiple coats of Baking Powder finished with pure white spray paint.

    3. The thick stuff around the trees: I use FibreDecorl a cotton cellulose with built in adhesive and recycled products. I wet it, attach it and "mould" it. I leave it to set and finish it with pure white spray paint. The product is designed to add texture to walls prior to painting. Beetstreet

  • excelent snow and ice.what did you use?????

  • The ice is an epoxy resin made by Circa 1850 called Nu-Lustre-55 Epoxy. It isn't cheap but great to work with. I first do a base layer of the epoxy, then a coat of white-blue enamel and finally a very thin top coat of the epoxy for a gloss finish. The whole process takes only two to three days including set time. Hope that helps, Beetstreet

  • that must be the WAFFEN SS 8th panzer korps from the eastern front...battle scared but still can fight....oh wait they have lost half of their tanks at leningrad

    very nice...

  • I liked it. At 0:40 was that a little river or something with that guy slipping? I lol'ed. But I liked this one. I'm working on one but I...my brother broke my video camera when we were making videos of us tying a snow sled to a four wheeler and going through dirt and mud.

  • hey its me again :) I just finished my Ardennes Forest model, i have not posted it but i thought it was pretty good for my first ever diorama. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thank you. Let me know when you post it, I would like to see the video. My first diorama was a bit of a mistake - far too big for what I knew about diorama building at the time. : ) Beetstreet

  • Yeah with mine i wanted to go way small so i built it to 1:72 scale. The intire thing is about one foot by one foot, lol. but now i am working on my "Road to Carentan" model it is built to 1:32 scale.

  • Nice stuff all around. Great painting.

I noticed that the tracks on the MKIV seemed to be actually 'touching' the ground. Truly rolling along. The MKVI tracks seemed to be 'floating'. This would only be noticeable in photos probably.

  • You are right! The original diorama had a Tiger I not the Tiger II, as the lead tank. Historically the Tiger I was, for the most part, absent from the Ardennes Offensive. A research error. Researching the circumstances and unit / vehicles involved in a given situation has become a even higher of a proirity after this diorama. Good eye - I think I just got caught!!! Lol : ) Beetstreet.

  • I love your work, i am into building dioramas and forces of valor as well. Well i just wanted to say i think your work is the best dioramas i have seen in awhile!

  • Another fantastic work from Beetstreet. Favorite shots.. 1:10 1:54 2:25 2:33 3:26

Great attention to details..especially the accumulated snow on the vehicles. Awesome trees. Would have been nice to pump some smoke to emulate an icey fog!

  • Tainted History 2 - you are too kind - thank you!!!

  • do you paint your own figures?

  • At this time I don't paint my own figures but given the price of prepainted custom, I think I will soon start!!! lol. If you are looking for low cost generic, two lines I buy are Dragon Can-Do Soldiers and Forces Of Valor Soldiers. For custom, I would suggest the following suppliers (all can be trusted): Pepi15 (EBay), something-old-n-new (EBay) and C&C Gift Emporium (Internet). C&C Gift Emporium carries a full line of prepainted models and diorama items. But always support your local hobby shop

  • i dont buy pre-painted figures i paint my own.
