  • what does the "hae" mean?

    i know sarang means love!

  • @Mariah6789 It means "I love you" or "Love" itself^^

  • @kpopUPdates oh.. thank you!(:

  • @Mariah6789 : hae comes from v.hada in korean means like "to do in English"

    Sarang = love (n.)

    Saranghae << Saranghada = to love

  • @PIRD I thought they were the same thing, but I wasn't completely sure. Thank you for telling me!

  • @Mariah6789 Not really, It doesnt mean add the You to it or anything like that. I'm korean myself, It's just another formal way of saying it. You'd usually say Saranghaeyo if you're familiar with the person.

  • @GDsKimchi oh really? thank you! I've recently started to learn korean.. but I can't get the sentence structure down... it's too confusing!

  • @Mariah6789 Oh haha xD It is very. Buy books :3 Usually helps.

  • @GDsKimchi I did! x3 I don't know why, but I think it's harder for me than it should be. Oh well.. I'll get it eventually. Thank you for the help, though! (:

  • @Mariah6789 "HAE" is from the verb "HAda" which means "to do" --- HA + YEOYO (present tense of a verb) = HAEYO. :) so it means "TO LOVE" in a present tense. :)

  • @tipangkyut thank you for helping me(:

  • love it!! ;)
