  • @foojam2002 my ass ur 32 if u r 32 years old then who the fuck makes a username called foojam wtf? stupid as hell makes no sense and its the most stupidist name i've seen at least mine actually makes sense

  • @ilikepancakes1212 I used the username i use on my e-mail too, so i can remember and it's based on 2 of my favourite bands. I don't give a shit if you find it stupid, it's just a username. Eat your pancakes and grow up.

  • @foojam2002 actually i did grow up so don't tell me that i have to grow when your the one thats acting imature and fighting with a 13 year old

  • @ilikepancakes1212 You started to use bad words for your age. Relax and have a merry Christmas. Cheers.

  • Fantastic song, nice job mate! I am trying to compose a song with MMG, cool program.

  • Awsome!!!! akmosts sounds like a live band!!!! i also made a remix using this program. just type "music 2000 ultimix"

    into youtube

  • This is great bud I know how hard it was to make a metal song like this.. Great work..

  • Do you still play with this program? I can't get mine to work after a recent update on my pc. I don't no if it has something to do with the directx7..

    Awesome song!!!

  • Do you still play with this program? I can't get mine to work after a recent update on my pc.

    Really awesome song!!

  • Moc dobrý. Perfektní práce.

  • Machine Head would be proud

  • awesomeage ! >:D

  • where can i download this pc app?

  • very nice man

  • It sounds like something from Doom or Duke Nukem.

  • I thought the same when it got close to the end. lol still sounds good though.

  • This would work well with a video of Doom gameplay.

I could listen to this going through the deepest pits of Hell shooting up Cacodemons and Pain Elementals with a double barrel shotgun! =D

  • Awesome!

  • Doesn't even sound like something from Music Generator! Good job, man!

Ps: wonder how much time it took you to do this...

  • Thanks man!

I don't remember how much time it took me to do this song. I guess a couple of hours as usual

  • WHich music generator is this? The first one?

  • Yup. It's called "MTV Music Generator" for PC and "Music 2000" for PS1.

  • dude can u send me just de drums from this song, i will record again with a real guitar and voices XD

  • Bad. Ass.

  • Holy cow, this song is pretty sick! Man, I so want to learn how to make songs sounding like THAT on MTV Music Generator/Music 2000. Anyway, awesome job, man. 5* and faved. :D

  • Best track I've ever heard on the Music Generator! This is awesome dood! You have some serious skills! I have the music generator and I agree it its a nice program, very easy to use. I can not come close to this magic. I humble myself before you... Five stars! I'm subscribing!

  • Thanks a lot man!

    Cheers!

  • I wonder if some actual audio studios use this software?

  • I use this program to make rap beats. It's easier to use than Frooty Loops, I don't care what anyone says. The sounds are limited but you can just import them in the Save Menu from anywhere on your computer by going to that location, and "loading" it just like any sound file. I also made drum/bass tracks that I play guitar over, so it sounds like I have a band but it's really just the guitar with a drum machine. Great game, total pwnage.

  • iv got this on PC, how do i like put my own sounds in there, iv got some cool sounds from games and shit i wanna use,

    cheers

  • Just go to the location of the sound file in the save menu (for example if it's on your desktop then navigate from the save/load menu to your desktop) and load the file like you would upload a song. It'll upload it as an instrument on the current song you're working on, and you can place it anywhere you want, like it's an instrument in the Riff Editor.

  • omg thanks!! ur fucking awesome, thanks 4 sharing the knowlege

  • This is awesome stuff!

  • i have music generator 2^^

  • i will listen to this song while

    i slice my penis off

  • NIceeeeeee

  • not bad. I tinkered around with this 'game' for a few years and came up with some groovy trip hop tracks.

  • is the one for PC the same thing as the one for the ps2?

  • No, this "game" didn't come out for PS2, only PC and PS1.

  • do u know how to make a cd with the one on ps2.

  • Uhmm... Are you asking how to make a CD with your MTV Music Generator 2/3 songs?

  • not for u to do it, but how it would be done.

  • Well... first of all you'll need a special cable to connect your TV to you sound card.

Two 3.5 Miniplug Stereo connectors, one on each side of the cable. One connector goes into your TV's headphones output and the other one goes into your sound card's mic input. Then use a program to record your songs in your hard drive and, well... Burn the CD

I highly recommend you to talk to "DJOmnimaga" (here on Youtube) about this. He will explain you a lot better than me (my english sucks XD)

  • tx for the info, i apreciate it, ive done somthing simular, but alot of feedback came with it, i hooked the ps2 cords into an adapter that allowed me to plug it into my sound card. to much static was the problem there.

  • actually it is out for ps2, i saw it at gamestop, and i recently bought the 2nd one

  • awesome this kicks ass

  • Wow man...are we talking about Music 2000 for the psone?? Totally menacing music man, love it and it could easilly be soundtrack to some game

  • my bad theres also a pc port actually. still it's quite impressive

  • Thanks! And yes, I use MTV Music Generator for PC. It's exactly like Music 2000 for the PSX but, in my opinion, a little better and easier to use.

  • Hey,...is it possible to take samples from reason 3.0 and fruity loops and convert them over to Mtv Music Generator's program? The face and frame of generator is so easy to use. The set up is so simple I can dish our 4 songs in an hour, given the thought that I know exactly what I want to do and where the samples are.

  • yeah, I like the PS1 version better though, even if it has limited memory it has better reverb quality (stereo) and in the PC version I couldnt get used to the controls for some reason. I never got able to do anything decent in it.

  • If you use the PC version, you must separate both left and right channel and make both mono and save in two wav files in 16 bit PCM format (in Audacity) else they will not import or you will lose the stereo sound completly.

If you use the PS1 version of MTVMG you must burn the wav files on a CD and then import in MTVMG CD ripping options.

In both cases I'm unsure if the reason samples are in wav format, so basically use a sound recorder like audacity and play them in Reason while recording

  • oh and I agree with how it's so easy to use compared to other programs. Only problem is the limited sound memory in the PS1 version and the annoying controls in the PC version and the frequent crashes on some PCs

  • Very impressive.

  • i have mtv music generator 3 on ps2/ could someone plese tell me, can i write the music i create to flash?

  • Seriously though.... If you're THAT into making music on your PC, MTV music generator is a HORRIBLE way to do it. I'd suggest Reason 4.0, FruityLoops, or maybe even Acid to get the job done. They're all WAAAAAAAAY better than MTV...either way great job with the mix...

  • Ok, thanks for the advice. I'll try to get those programs.

  • Seriously though dude, I applaud you for being able to make sic songs with such a crappy program... but if you got reason 4.0, your mind would be blown... You can do TONS more with the sounds... Heck reason adapted is still better than MMG and it's only ~100 bucks now... although the full 4.0 is 400 bones, you could make your money back with sweet mixes from a great virtual rack... check it out!

  • Hey! I've tested Fruity Loops 8 and the guitar samples are fucking amazing!!! But the drums are not so good.

MTVMG is way easier to use than Fuity Loops. If I only could mix the guitar samples from FL8 with the drum samples from MTVMG I believe I could make amazing metal songs.

  • You have to pay for better 3rd party support. Steinberg has Groove Essentials, but the best program would have to be DKFH (drumkit from hell) Google it. It will meet all of your drum needs...

  • MTV does the job for happy hardcore, uk hardcore, trance and eurodance stuff though. YOu can make a good song in 4 hours in it if you know how to use the program. Making rock is harder though because the guitar samples are bad

  • It sounds like machine head!!

    great song

  • It sounds like machine head!!

    great song

  • good industrial metal song !

  • Sounds like something you'd hear on Command and Conquer Red Alert. Two thumbs up.

  • ooooooooo shit at 2:20 it gets fucking brutal

  • aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaa its rocking

  • Damn dude, add some lyrics to this and play it on instruments in RL and you got yourself a piece of work

  • Nice!...I've always wanted make some metal sounds but the guitars of the MMG are a disaster...even making the riffs...

I'll upload some songs that i did soon!

  • Great work man) Not many people make metal music in such programs) Like you, i working in this direction too) One problem is that in MMG is poor guitar sound and hard to do a melody, so i take guitars from others bands like fear factory, kittie etc. Keep doing metal songs dude!

  • wow awesome for Music 2000! I've used this program for 5.5 years but I only did techno stuff so far (mostly UK hardcore, freeform, happy hardcore and trance though)

I uploaded a few of them on youtube but most of them can be accessed on the MTV Music Generator/Music 2000 forum in better sound quality (as well as Tech87, kalsolarUK, stair84 and other ppl stuff)

  • Awesome job. Sounds like Machine Head. You should get Music 3000 for ps2.

  • Thanks man! That's exactly what I though the moment I finished the song: "sounds like Machine Head"

    I wish I could get Music 3000 but I don't even have a Ps2 :(

  • Sounds pretty awesome! I miss this game so much. I need to dig out my memory card; I have a few original black/death type songs on it. One prob...need to find a copy of the GAME!

  • perty tight

  • This is awesome, using pre-determined riffs is gay. Also I bet the ps1 version could handle this song as well.

  • coll, owo, very good, is very good.

  • IS THIS THE FIRST MTV Music Generator?

  • nice1, check out mine.. =) i made some my self..

  • freakin ninja

  • sweet song sweet picture of a skull

  • damn i have this game for PS one but you can't make long intricate songs cuz the memory BLOWS. i did attempt a hardcore song once though and it was pretty pathetic. this is nice work btw.

  • Hey how did you make this song yo! it sounds cool

  • Thanks! Use the Sample Library "instruments" inside the Riff Editor to create your own sounds (guitar, bass, drums...) instead of the predefined riffs of the game. Any kind of music is possible to make with MTVMG. ;) Maybe not the best... but pretty good! Cheers!

  • Oh damn... The quality is too low here in Youtube!
