  • the whole point of juggling is to entertain.. so this guy is a great juggler

  • The juggling is simple, but the timing is still epic.

  • good juggler ....super good entertainer!! if you know how to juggle u will notice the paterns are just simple but with the music it makes it enterteining :D

  • @federil0k0 After one month of juggling I could do more than this guy, he is a comedian, not a juggler. Easiest routine ever, and really he is making it look hard on purpose. I can make juggling 5 balls look easy. I can hold a conversation along with eye contact while juggling 5 balls. This guy has been juggling for more than 15 years, and hasn't gotten any better. I've been juggling for just over 2 years, and this video makes me feel bad for the guy for being such a lame juggler!

  • if i started juggling i found this video , i was estonished what he is doing , now i know that´s nothing ... but non juggling people love such perfomances...

  • BOTH -.- You can't say that that is bad juggling..

  • @elskergutter I'd say flailing like someone having a seizure, and people cheering for it because they don't know juggling from stupid, ...well ha... ha

  • I'm juggling too, so I'm able to confirm that these tricks are not the hardest, but he's performing them in a very clean and entertaining way.

I wouldn't say, that he's a bad juggler. He's better than most people will ever get.

  • the endless "Chris Bliss" debate...

I would say he's a good juggler. I heard he's been juggling for 30+ years. Of course he does easy tricks in THIS act, but I'm sure he can do harder stuff too. Non-juggling audiences don't appreciate hardcore tech-juggling. Who would perform their most difficult material on stage, unless it was for competition? probably nobody.. Anyone who can put together a routine with basic tricks, simple choreography and pull it off dropless is good at juggling.

  • I can do lots of advanced 3ball tricks, tons of crazy siteswaps with 5-6 balls, and I can juggle 7-8 balls. Am I a good juggler?? I'm better than Chris Bliss, but there are so many people better than me.. So how is Chris not a good juggler just because there are people that are better than him?? Why am I not a good juggler just because there are people better than me??

I normally wouldn't comment on this matter, but since the title of the video was a question, I couldn't resist :)

  • one more thing, I learned how to juggle when I was a little kid, but I never learned any tricks. About 3 years ago, someone showed me the Bliss video, and I thought to myself "that shit looks easy! I could do that!" And I did. It got me inspired to become better at juggling and learn some tricks. This video has inspired lots of people to juggle, and for that I think Chris Bliss is awesome!!! Why badmouth someone who is spreading the joys of juggling?!?

  • @thegoheads This is true, though I still pity the guy for being at the same level for the last 15 years.

  • And I would say: it is very difficult to juggle 3 balls as exact to the music, as he does. Feeling for rhythm is NOT all you need therefor. Why? All throws and all moves must be as exact, as you need to juggle much more balls (Of course he could easly do 5 - I see It!). Why? If you move not so very very exact, you need a little bit more or less time for catching, I even can't do a simple cascade as exact to rhythm of music, as he does the cascade and all the other tricks.

  • I've been juggling since 1 1/2 years. And of course - I can't do all the tricks he shows. Buti've no special sportive juggling-talent -I really love it, because it's so very relaxing, artful, creative and funny. I think after 5 years of juggling i can do his routine - but not so as exact to the music. Therefore follows: He's is not a excellent, but a simple, good juggler and a much better entertainer - like every juggler should be. Relax and make people smile - that's the sense of juggling!

  • This is one of those things that ppl just don't get, including Mr. Garfield.

Have I seen juggling with a better "wow" factor, sure. Have I ever seen, in 40+ years, a better juggling performance, never...not even close. I watch this every other month or so.

This is clearly that is about the love of that extraordinary piece of music. And which he makes an amazing interpretation of thru the juggling.

    This is a performance!

  • I would 10x rather watch Chris Bliss as a juggler than Jason Garfield, especially the Chris Bliss Diss vid.

Show me you can pull off this routine Mr Juggling fool, then you have the bragging rights to say Chris Bliss is not a juggler....

  • Kris Kremo- One of the greatest jugglers to ever live and all of his routines are minmalistic. Why should that be wrong? he is a GOOD juggler, and with that being said, so is Chris. He may not be a good technical juggler, but that doesn't matter. Even Gatto said he never could do anything interesting with 3 balls.

  • he just entertains... if this routine was done in front of jugglers, they'd be able to do every trick and what not without much practice... but his routine is very good none the less... and this guyts name is chris bliss

  • My reason for watching this video is to be ENTERTAINED , I could care less if his tricks are not difficult, its all about having fun not competing....He's a fine juggler.

  • see thats my point. you watch to be entertained but here you say he is a fine juggler. you probably mean he is a fine "ENTERTAINER" not a fine juggler

  • @JugglingFool92 what you wrote in the description box is right, but see how he got it super entertaining to the song so he is a GOOD ENTERTAINER AND A OK JUGGLER.

  • how many of u can honestly say u can go into a massive crowd (not drop a ball) and have his juggling perfectly (timed to the music)........ yeah thats what i thought not gtfo of his back please.

  • jugglers, you're all like sporters nowadays.

chris bliss is an ARTIST, as every juggler should be.

someone "i don't know who" made it with 5 balls? so what? it sucks!

it was not art, like this performance of CB, it was only some guy juggling 5 balls...

jugglers, please be more like artists and less like sporters.

  • who gives a shit if he is a good juggler or not. i cant juggle at all so he is automatically a good juggler to me

  • Nah, beginners can't do all that. The tricks themselves obviously aren't unique or really hard, but the huge dynamics of the rythm do require pretty good (not as in Vova good, but still good) juggling skills. If you want to do the whole routine without any drops, that is!

  • Check out Wes Peden. Suberb technique, never boring.

  • oh i love wes. he is an amazing technical juggler. one of my favorite cuss he actually has style

  • There is a place for technical and a place for show. I've seen tons of super technical jugglers that are BORING!

  • ya but the technical jugglers are the ones who actually have to practice to be good at what they do. they might be boring, but damn are they actually good at juggling.

  • Yes I agree. But nevertheless the audience want to get entertained. No one cares if he is the best juggler on earth or not. They want a great show and great entertainment. And Chris Bliss is a good entertainer. Cool down!

  • jason, for example.

really good jugglers, REALLY BORING PERFORMER.

  • @justmajors Hey, check out Michael Karas "Tetris", one of the best technical juggling videos I've seen, and the most entertaining!

  • Juggling Fool92: You wrong ! this is juggling act , not to try to beat world record to juggle 13 balls ,12 rings , etc..... maybe they in a day can juggle 13 balls , but for what ? to do only cascade ?

  • hes juggling friggin 3 balls with the easyest tricks on earth this ruined the song for me

  • Has anyone seen his That Old Pair Of Jeans music video... after about 1 minute, he repeats the same trick 7 or 8 times, and the ignorant audience still applauds him. Sure, he knows how to entertain, but in a sense he is abusing the unknowingness of the audience about what 'hard' juggling is... VERY average performance compared to ANYTHING Vova or Dietz or Gatto could pull off... Disappointing...

  • i totally agree

  • he definetely is a good entertainer for non-jugglers (with his faces during the video :-)

but...his moves can just LOOK hard to some people...they are not.

  • I dissagree, I think that he is pretty good, I mean, I'm starting on 5 right now, and there is no way I could do half the stuff Chris Bliss does, at least it doesn't appear I could. He seems to have very good control of 3 ball juggling, and if that's his style, I say, go for it! =)

  • good entrtainer,but not a juggler

  • for sure

  • I'm sorry, but for me juggling with more then 5 balls is... messed? and don't look so great.

  • then im sorry to say that you don't know what good technical juggling is.

  • yeah thats right, when i started juggling i saw this video and i thought it was great also because he is moging so much.. then i'v wacht this video later when i was better in juggling and i saw those tricks aren't difficult

(srry for the (spelling or typo??) i'm dutch)

  • it looks difficult because he move his arms so much

  • but the thing is, he moves his arms for show. its not much different from acting. what he is doing isn't difficult, but i will give him credit for his choreographing skills cuss not many pple can do it well

  • Great entertainer. He does very basic moves that slowly build up. So the crowd thinks it's insane when he des the behind the back or three in one hand. Check out the five ball version.

  • ya i have the 5 ball version on my profile. Jason garfield is insane. lol

  • good music, i was entertained. i thought 3 balls was fine, more might have made it seem too complicated.

  • Decent jugglers who care about juggling and are actually serious about it (aka: good jugglers who can do more than mills mess and 3 ball juggling).

  • you are absolutly right that that isnt juggling, i mean, he goes with the beat but anyone with a sense of rythm can do that. i think thamos dietz is better than vova and jasong thuogh.

  • ya, thomas dietz is really good 2. Its just that when i think juggling, vova and jason r the first two that come to mind. I think that jason is really good with 5 balls, vova at 5 clubs and passing, and thomas with numbers juggling with some complicated tricks

  • Yep...Vova and Jason are better...but this guys do a pretty nice routine...try to did it at the ythm of the tune....it's pretty hard.....it's not as hard as 7 up 360 but it's pretty hard and impressive.....and his juggling are pretty solid

i'm not agree with you..it's entertaining juggling

  • Its not hard to juggle to rhythm, not at least with three, where the timing can be tweaked almost indefinitely.

  • I know...I prefer garfield and galchenko too...but I love his routine..pretty solid and funny....

Domebody who never juggle watch it and'll be more impressd than a 7 ball cascade...they don,t know wath is difficult or not....but I agree with you..it's easy to do but it's pretty solid

  • Yeah this is really solid juggling with easy tricks. Chris has most likely juggled this routine a million times to make it this solid. It is also very fluid to, which is hard to accomplish for some people.

  • he didnt make mistakes at all :) and it was well choreographed in its basic form.

  • He didn't make any mistakes because it was easy juggling and it is also easy to choreograph.

  • I would probably add "This is not difficult juggling, this is entertaining 3 ball routine"

  • your right, this isn't difficult juggling. It isn't that hard to juggle to the rhythm of music. Most jugglers don't do that. I have done many shows that go to the rhythm of music. Thats the only reason why people like his juggling, because it goes to the rhythm of music. But there is also the many non jugglers who don't understand that what he is doing is not hard. He can't even juggle 5 balls, which is what any juggler who has been juggling as long as he has should be able to do at the least.

  • wow, bliss cant even juggle five balls. thank you for posting this video and i hope more people realize what juggling really is.

  • he can definately juggle five balls if he has this routine solid and can do the 3 in one hand solidly in this routine

  • He can't juggle five balls, thats one point that Jason Garfield was making in his Chris Bliss Diss video.

  • Jason Garfield's point was that his routine wasn't technically difficult because Jason who is a world class juggler can do it with 5 balls.

  • yes, that was his main point. But he was also making the point that chris can't juggle 5 balls.

  • Is there a way we can contact him or sum1 who knows him to see whether or not he can. Im pretty sure he can. 3 in one hand that solid on stage... he must be able to

  • Please read the description of the video before u go posting comments on it.

    Thank you! :)

  • I don't understand why you think I didn't.
