That's a really nice cassette recorder! Interesting, it really has a whole lot of features! The visual advance must be for projectors, and the preamp output is to hook this machine up to an external amplifier, like a big stereo system or something like that.
You have a treasure there. Those were made for the schools. I used to repair them, the quality is over the top great! Well, I have faith that you will figure it out. The line out goes to any amplifier with a high level, NOT microphone, input. It does very well recording music. Too bad they are only mono.
Very nice Wollensak! I have the same model, but with a not-so-good pinch roller. It was all bad and I put a pen grip to use but the sound is still warbly. That sound quality sure is good on your Wollensak. Those were built with quality.
