Got a question for someone to help me out.My 2006 mustang Gt is also an automatic,with stock 3.31s,my mods are,Edelbrock Supercharger@ 9LBs boost,comp cams stage 1,Jba shorties,pypes high flow cats,Magnapack muffler's and SCT tuned for around 480 RWHP,what gears would be sufficient for me ,3.55s or 3.73,it's basically a street driven car,That i like to have some fun with,thanks.
@GMurphSC06GT both are fine for those mods but i think you would probably like the 3.73's a little better. you'll get more pull off the line and have an overall stronger feel to the car. just my opinion
onlyrock1! You were born the same year as my first car was made. There fore you may not remember that in the 80s all most all American speedometers only went up to 85mph. So one 140 is a big improvement.
You don't know alot about cars because if you did you would know that the speedometer's max has nothing to do with how fast the car can travel.

@onlyrock1 its not 140 tops. the numbers are every 20 mph. the speedometer stops at 150 but the car is capable of 150+ stock after flashing the ECM. hell of a lot better than the new skyline which stops at 113 until you flash the ECM.

i'll respond to that one. My dad has had a few problems when putting the petal to the metal through the corners. Seems as if the belt is slipping under the cornering G's and can't handle it. We have replaced the belt once, and the engine light occasionally comes on. Solve the problem by turning the car off, then back on...and the problem is fixed (temporarily). you wont get 400 hp with just a super charger more along the lines of 300-330. the v6 and v8 both use the same auto transmission so you dont have to worry about breaking it.

I'd like to see that video. I have a an 07 gt with most of the goods and while it's very quick, there's no way in hell it's just as quick as this car. This does 0-100mph in 9 seconds. Put on every bolt on you can think of, and it won't even come close to 9 seconds to 100.

@onlyrock1 its not 140 tops. the numbers are every 20 mph. the speedometer stops at 150 but the car is capable of 150+ stock after flashing the ECM. hell of a lot better than the new skyline which stops at 113 until you flash the ECM.

i'll respond to that one. My dad has had a few problems when putting the petal to the metal through the corners. Seems as if the belt is slipping under the cornering G's and can't handle it. We have replaced the belt once, and the engine light occasionally comes on. Solve the problem by turning the car off, then back on...and the problem is fixed (temporarily). In a straight line....NO problems whatsoever :) Whipple @ 11.5psi

you wont get 400 hp with just a super charger more along the lines of 300-330. the v6 and v8 both use the same auto transmission so you dont have to worry about breaking it.

Yeah its true the 370Z is faster than the new mustang GT and its got 15 more hp, but by no means will a 370Z "tear up" a mustang, i just inches it out, it weighs less and is a 2 seater with that, besides i really dont care if fords motors dont make as much hp per cubic inch as some of the foriegn cars, V8 souns better and does have more potential, and dont try to deny that

I'd like to see that video. I have a an 07 gt with most of the goods and while it's very quick, there's no way in hell it's just as quick as this car. This does 0-100mph in 9 seconds. Put on every bolt on you can think of, and it won't even come close to 9 seconds to 100.

I know altimas can eat the v6's, but they can't match the gt. torque just aint your altimas thing ;). as far as the live axle goes, yeah its prettyy shitty, but the new ones seems to use it very well because it outhandled the camaro and challenger with the trakpackage (which isnt too much).
