Ummm... That's not an ami!!! When you ami you keep the upper part of your body still (especially your shoulders) and circle shouldn't be so big that you lean to the front like she did. If u r trying to learn hula or Tahitian dancing don't listen to this old lady!!

I sent a message to expert village to remove these videos from their lineup as she obviously isn't an expert in either Tahitian nor Hula. She is doing it completely wrong! And for those of you who say it doesn't matter because it still looks nice, it does matter to those of us who understand what the dance is suppose to mean. It's our culture not just a something to done to "look nice". I hope they remove her videos.
