  • I do the same on all my casing. It works great for attaching plinth blocks to the bottom of the casing. I'm in grass valley, not too far from you.

  • End grain will suck up most of that glue.

  • @kimchee94112 Oak is a tight grained wood, the end grain doesn't soak glue like softer woods.

However, the whole point of the video is that the pocket screws provide ample strength, so that I'm not relying on the glue to hold it together.

  • cool

  • no, it's too soft, softer than other video's. But nevermind. I apologise for the way i did.

  • the sound! it sucks! it's way too soft (for people to hear you explanations) which makes this video useless and iritating.

  • @giliam74 The sound is fine on my computer - might need to check your speaker volume?

  • @BakersfieldRemodel

Nothing wrong with my sound system at all. The sound of the commentary is very quiet for me too, yet the sound of the drill is deafening! I have watched other vids here on YT and no probs. Shame, as this is a very useful video in other respects.

  • @giliam74 wow real nice. The man is trying to give a good tip using a home video camera and you dis him on the audio. Take the video for what it is....teaching. Thanks! :)
